Sweet and picturesque lakeside village.
Sweet and picturesque lakeside village. We did some beautiful walks- enjoyed boat ride around loch and spent a few hours on idyllic island in loch. A couple of small gift shops and a village store with fantastic cakes and essential supplies. A nice hotel and small restaurant/ cafe to eat in . We had a car and drive to other nearby lochs and had breathtaking drive up to glencoe and glen elive….. iconic James Bond sky-fall location. Luss village was really picturesque - such an attractive spot on the Loch. We used it as a base for a Loch Cruise which was great. Luss is incredibly popular, and with the exceptional weather, the car park was full very quickly. Culag is in a stunning setting, Patrick is a fantastic host.
Culag is in a stunning setting, Patrick is a fantastic host. The property was superb plenty tea,coffee,sugar and even fresh milk in the fridge on arrival. Booked at the last minute as we where let down by another hotel nearby. 1 night stop over on our long trip from Wiltshire to the Highlands Such a lovely location. Beautiful big dog friendly room with balcony overlooking the beautiful Loch Lomond. Restaurant so modern clean and very attentive staff. Food excellent also. The hotel is entirely dog friendly. Staff are brilliant, friendly. Food exceptional. Prices reasonable. Only minor is the room. We were in 105. It has a beautiful view of loch Lomond but the room is tiny, felt cramped and the wallpaper is starting to come off around the window. That said, it was clean. We would stay again.
