Pleasantly surprised by this hotel. I travel all over the world for work (and pleasure) but I live in Britain and know what it can be like selecting a hotel in an area you know but still don’t quite know. This place is fab! The building itself is one of quaint historic preservation. The entry is comfortable, much nicer than bright lights and a huge desk. Staff were very kind and although I didn’t need help because I simply wanted to rest, everyone was calm and happy to greet me. My room, hands down was an absolutely perfect set up. Sofa, tv, small kitchen, a little table and ‘good’ coffee and tea in room. Then crossing into the bedroom - a large and very comfortable bed, deep tub in the room, a tv plus a closet and a loo with a great shower. The thing is, there has been a lot of thought in the placement of furniture and layout, plus lighting—I prefer muted lighting and watching tv last night was like being at home. I cast from my accounts to both TVs. Furnishing nice. Snacks were great and since I actually was so comfortable I basically just ate most of the snacks instead of going out, olives, hummus crisps, a couple other random things. Although not overly healthy to just eat snacks, at least some alternative options were there. A tiny bottle of milk was in the fridge. It’s the little touches that make life easier. Only suggestion, perhaps a lightweight sofa throw…but that’s a first world problem. Big coffee cups in the room. And the location is absolutely great—couldn’t be better. Right there and easy to get anywhere if I needed to. I’ll definitely come back here. I didn’t try the breakfast because I needed to get to my meetings and I was so comfortable I stayed in my room until the very last minute. Picturesque and pleasant. This hotel is permanently on my list for Manchester stops.

The room at the hotel was stylish, comfortable, and infused with a unique charm. The attention to detail was evident, with subtle nods to the world of beer in the decor. The mini-fridge stocked with a selection of beers was a delightful touch, allowing me to indulge in my favorite brews at my convenience (There's also a mini-beer-fridge in the shower!!!). There's a guitar to play and a classic Pathéphone.

From the moment me and my family stepped into the Treehouse Hotel, we felt like we’d entered a whimsical retreat tucked away in the city. The décor was absolutely gorgeous, thoughtfully designed with playful touches that made the whole space feel both luxurious and inviting. Every corner seemed curated to delight. The experience far exceeded our expectations. The staff were warm and attentive, the rooms were spotless and cozy. It felt like a perfect blend of comfort and creativity. Whether you're visiting Manchester for work or leisure, I wholeheartedly recommend Treehouse Hotel for a stay that feels special, memorable, and just a little bit magical.

As I have an interest in architecture, creative arts,...

As I have an interest in architecture, creative arts, British criminology and sport. Manchester has a wealth of historic and present aspects i had a desire to explore. I don’t think I’ll be there next year as I want to savour what I have discovered and seen in the last three years, but in the future I will visit again.

A lively, young and vibrant city.

A lively, young and vibrant city. I loved the heritage and history and civic pride. Lots to see and do. Mancunians are exceptionally friendly and helpful if lost. The Christmas markets were extraordinary and wonderfully busy. Loved getting around by tram - such an efficient way to travel and never gets stuck in traffic. A trip out to MediaCity and Salford Quays was excellent and included seeing the impressive Imperial War Museum North and the Lowery gallery. Both worthwhile visits. Discovered a gem of an Irish Bar in Northern Quarter with live music. Perfect!

We love the variety. Historic houses a short drive away.

We love the variety. Historic houses a short drive away. Several museums (Manchester Museum is a Gothis paradise with a brilliant cafe) and art galleries in the centre but most of all, the live music venues, The Halle Orchestra at the Bridgewater Hall, Classical music and other at the Royal Northern College of Music, Stoller Hall, the Cathedral and many other places PLUS numerous groups from the US and locally. You could attend a live music event every night. A wide variety of restaurants, including a few veggie/vegan. Not much in the way of parks in the main centre but Whitworth Gallery and park is lovely and RHS Bridgewater is about 20 minutes drive away. Good shopping too.

We were in Manchester for an event at the Bridgewater Hall. This hotel is a short walk from the venue, in a premier position in the city centre with trams and buses immediately outside the hotel on St Peter's Square, and surrounded by restaurants, pubs, bars and shops. Perfect for an overnight stay and on this occasion, at a very competitive price. The staff at reception were welcoming, helpful and friendly. Our bedroom was very comfortable, clean and fully-equipped for an overnight stay. We would definitely stay here again.
