Everything was fantastic during our stay at the Green Dragon. The staff was wonderful, the food was wonderful - absolutely everything was perfect. The stay was quiet and peaceful - while the pub environment provided a great sense of the local community. The host was very helpful and pleasant. We really enjoyed our interaction with every staff member while we were there. We needed a room for four (two adults and two kids) at a reasonable price while visiting Stonehenge - but I also wanted something with some personality - and that combination can be difficult to find. This was a perfect accommodation for our family. - and, there is a dog, I love Arnie. What a great boy.

The staff were welcoming on arrival. They provided assistance with booking a taxi for myself and my daughter. They were engaging in conversation and interested in hearing where we were going etc. Our waiter on the first night was really helpful when I mentioned my daughter was a fussy eater. He was able to arrange a really plain burger which she loved. On the subject of food......it was outstanding and very reasonably priced for the excellent quality and presentation that arrived to the table. It was really nice to see it was dog friendly too. Two guests has their lovely dogs along and the lay happily under the tables while their owners ate a meal. The bedroom was beautifully presented. Immaculately clean. The radio playing gently in the background on arrival was a really nice touch too. Just a final word on breakfast.....we opted for room only but when we arrived we saw the breakfast menu and swiftly opted to book breakfast., a decision i will never regret. The beautiful bread and perfectly soft poached eggs were magnificent. Well done to all at the black swan. A top class place to stay.

The apartment is very beautiful and well equipped. There is a kitchen with everything you need, even the basic spices and some milk for breakfast. A very nice outside space to sit with morning sun welcomed us to the day. There is a quite good equipped store in the village to buy some food. The bed is super comfortable, we slept very well. The owners are very welcoming, friendly and helpful. Even our very short time booking was no problem.

Lovely little property in a peaceful village. Anna,Jonathan and their son Jeremy were warm and welcoming and the homemade bred and jams along with other breakfast provisions were delicious and a lovely thought. The bed was king-size and super comfortable, and very clean.
