A 16th century classic, with the most modern appliances. This apartment has been superbly renovated and furnished. The bay window overlooking the street was a popular spot during our stay. Richard and Penny spoiled us with a fridge full of breakfast delights, and nothing was too much trouble for them. Petersfield is a lovely market village, and the pictures of the old market square in the passage of the apartment are very interesting. Thank you Penny and Richard for all your care and attention. We loved the stay!

An excellent appartment in a cosy and beautiful surrounding and a high standard. We were there for two weeks and we wished we can stay any longer. The hosts were very welcomimg. From this spot you can travel to the nicest sigtseeings.

We have never visited petersfield before & we were surprised...

We have never visited petersfield before & we were surprised & pleased to find it was a delightful little town.We were able to park easily almost on the high street which was good & the high street was brimming with fantastic shops & cafes.

I used to live in Petersfield over 20 years ago and had not been back since. It was even more charming than I remember and has even better shopping facilities, but also good to see some shops still going after 20 plus years.

I lived in Petersfield for most of my life and come back...

I lived in Petersfield for most of my life and come back fairly regularly to visit family and friends. It’s a lovely market town and there is the Heath Lake which is very scenic. The shops have improved since I last visited and there are now some very good bars/restaurants. We ate mostly at Wetherspoon because we had to eat out a few times. The food is good and a very good price. There is a railway which gives easy access to Portsmouth and London.

I actually came to meet up with family.

I actually came to meet up with family. I fou nd the area well located for visits to other towns and villages. It is such a lovely area I was only there for two nights .We ate at the restaurant at Sky Park Deer Farm. There are excellent pubs and restaurants nearby

A pleasant small market town with good facilities.

A pleasant small market town with good facilities. Within range of national Trust properties, and other towns like Minstead. Good road and rail connections, but watch out for the "average speed zones" particularly on the A272 !!

A charming village near the glorious South Downs.

A charming village near the glorious South Downs. We had difficulty finding somewhere to eat on the Sunday night but Ruby and Monty was a little gem of a restaurant (Italian - pizza/pasta) that accommodated us at short notice - they served the best salads and bruschetta I have ever eaten!

The hotel was quiet when I visited, so the owner kindly upgraded my stay to be in the Oakham room and it was absolutely gorgeous. Everyone was friendly and helpful, the room was spotless, the bath was inviting, the shower was powerful and the coffee machine was amazing! Breakfast was lovely – a help yourself buffet which had everything I needed.

Staff were extremely friendly and accommodating, given we had to get up and come back very early. Their pub food is excellent and they met my dietary needs without an issue. The room was clean and comfortable and had a great TV. I would recommend this as a hotel for those looking to explore the area and wanting comfort and peace for their stay.

The hotel closed at 10. Entrance after 10 pm was via a back door accessed by a code to be inputted on the door. The doorway was completely dark and the panel the code had to be punched into was completely obscured by the dark and impossible to access. It was an unacceptable and unexpected.

Beautiful surroundings and well-kept estate. The Loft was very comfortable with all facilties needed for a pleasant stay. Good location to access Petersfield and beyond. Circular walks to QE country Park and Butser Hill. I really enjoyed my stay. Thank you.
