A lovely, clean and well thought out little place Spotlessly clean, and fun quirky decor along the jungle theme Bed was so comfortable and cosy and I slept so well. I appreciated the little touches like biscuits, milk and tea and coffee left for me Communication beforehand and instructions were clear and friendly I would definitely stay again Great value for money too!

Beautifully decorated building. Elegant. Stylish. Wonderful pot plants, open fires, candles. Very welcoming and relaxing. All the staff were welcoming, friendly and enthusiastic about their work and their employers. Serena and her breakfast staff colleagues made a great start to each day.

Our room was spacious and comfy, and the bathroom was big enough and had a great shower. The food (dinner and breakfast) was really good, and the owner and wait staff were all very friendly. We were a bit worried about the busy road, but we had no traffic noise at all during the night. Excellent value for money.

Lovely friendly staff right from arrival to checkout. Food was very tasty. We stayed due to its proximity to the university campus as our daughter is hoping to attend next year and we came for the uni open day. If she does get a place, the Elmer will be our go to for weekend visits and as they are dog friendly we will be bringing our 2 dogs so they can also see my daughter. No noise and not much passing traffic overnight

One of the best hotel spas we've been to in England! The place is really well maintained, has all the charms of yesteryears but the conveniences of today. I especially enjoyed the pool, wish I could've swam more! The food was also really lovely, haven't seen a delicious breakfast spread like that in ages.

I have been coming to Rustington since I was a child though...

I have been coming to Rustington since I was a child though had a break of many years and started visiting again in the last 5 years. Rustington is a lovely place with a nice compact shopping centre. Staff in shops and bars are very friendly. Age UK is a great charity shop, Establo Lounge is a lovely bar. It's easy to walk down to the beach at Sea Lane, very pebbly but not crowded. There's a good atmosphere in the village, plenty of people in the bars and shopping. There is a Waterstones too which is definitely worth a visit.
