I was looking for something different to the usual hotel rooms for a night away. This is a lovely little guest house that has everything you need. It is set in a lovey village. The owner was very welcoming.

Damon's hotel exceeded our expectations on every level. The room was excellent, with plenty of space and a comfortable bed. Whilst we didn't eat at the accompanying restaurant, we did use the bar, which, like the hotel, was excellent value for money. We will stay here again, and we will make more use of the onsite facilities.

The staff were warm and welcoming and provided the extras I needed to ask for due to my disability. The bed, wow, so comfortable. The bathroom we had been told wasn't fully accessible but was great for my needs and so clean. The room was very clean, and the all important Teas and coffees in the room were great. The disabled parking was right in front of the hotel and was really accessible. Evening carvery, dear lord, there was so much food and well cooked lovely food. Breakfast was plentiful and set you up for the day.

Rose cottage was situated in a lovely quite location, the cottage was very attractive from the front and didn't disappoint inside either. Beautifully decorated and laid out, a lot of thought went into the decor ! Liz and Steve were wonderful hosts, kind and helpful in every way, the breakfasts were amazing ! Our room was very generous with lovely views across the well kept back garden, we enjoyed watching birds flying back and forth across the garden. The room was very clean and the bed was a very comfortable king size and very comfortable pillows. We wished we could have stayed longer, and look forward to a future stay in the not too distant future ! Thank you Liz and Steve, you made our stay very memorable !
