An utterly lovely, comfortable place to stay... The staff are so friendly and helpful making the stay very special. The food was beautifully prepared, presented (especially the seafood platter!) and served. My stay was an absolute pleasure and I'm already looking forward to staying there again during my next visit.

We had a great time. If you want the simple life for a few days without any distrachtion, this is the right place. Yet we had everything we really needed. We enjoyed the fascinating nature, the landscape and the view of the sea every morning. Our hosts John and Jackie are friendly and uncomplicated. We will probably come again.

We have fallen in love with the Beach Bothies in 2022. It felt like a beautiful home for the time we spent there back then and even more this year. Julie and Dave have been wonderful, lovely, welcoming, warm, helpful, attentive and generous hosts! We couldn't end up in a better place and will be back a 3rd time.

A lovely remote part of the island with spectacular scenery.

A lovely remote part of the island with spectacular scenery. Not central but one of the most scenic parts of Lewis. Easy access to the North of Lewis and North of Harris but a longer trek for a day trip to South Harris One local grocery shop which we didn't use but plenty of shops when day tripping to the west coast or stornoway
