How can I describe this amazing place??? The view was to die for, the room was cozy, warm and had everything we needed, the wifi super strong. Breakfast was rich and tasty, the dinners were delicious, probably the best food we had in Georgia! Ok, those things are to be expected...What is not expected and came as a big surprise, is the warmth of the hosts, the friendly chats around the fire at night, the laughs after all thoise treats of chacha! Dear Tsodne and Georgi, thank you so much for everything! You made us feel like family! You are always welcome in our home, if you ever decide to visit! And we are sure to come back! Stavros and Rosa

The Grand Hotel Ushba is really beautiful situated in the Becho Vally and offers an ideal starting points for (day or longer) hikes in the area. As a matter of fact, we thought the views from the valley were some of the most stunning we saw during our overall 4 days in Svaneti. The host Richard is an expert on hiking and other outdoor activities in the area and he gave us some really good tips! He also lent us his book with hikes in Svaneti region that was very helpful. We had dinner twice which was not only tasty and exactly what we needed after a long day of hiking, but also in a very nice atmosphere, cozy and with a lot of attention to detail. Breakfast was also great (warm and filling, and also available at 7 am which allowed us to start our hike early). The rooms are clean and cozy, again nicely decorated with great attention to detail.

The location is great, and the property is beautiful and very relaxing. Close to Mestia, and up on a hill providing some of the best views in the area. A river runs through the property and there are plenty of places to sit and relax by the water. There is a well-stocked kitchen where you can cook your meals. We had breakfast made by the host and it was delicious. Multiple firepits and plenty of wood is available for having a fire.

We had the panoramic view room, and it was stunning! The views were breathtaking and the private balcony is a great spot to just sit and read a book. The property is only accessible by a 4x4 but David is able to collect you from the closet road. Breakfast and dinner were absolutely delicious, some of the best we’ve had on our trip so far. David is also super helpful and a great host!

Murman and his family were great hosts - warm and welcoming, providing excellent (vegetarian) meals and helping us arrange transport to and from the guest house. It is a lovely, relaxing place with a big garden and magnificent views of Ushba mountain and other peaks.

Excellent stay at Svanieri We had a wonderful time at Svanieri. The privacy and quietness were exactly what we were looking for. The location offers great tranquility away from noise and crowds just on the hiking trails. Cleanliness of the house was outstanding, with everything spotless and well-maintained. We would definitely recommend this place to travelers seeking a quiet and private accomodation. We'd be happy to return in the future.

Beautiful little place with a view of the mountain range from the front. The property itself is very cosy and warm when it’s cold outside. The kitchen has everything necessary for a longer stay - we were there for 2 weeks. There are some good natured, cute stray animals around the area that may come to say hello, so if you miss your pets at home these guys can help bridge that gap
