On arrival it is confusing - hotel is built on upper slopes of caldera, so it has different levels. On the plus side as soon as you leave the hotel you are on the famous Fira/Oia walk - turn right for Fira. You are on the highest part of the caldera so initially it is downhill, also you are close to Skaros rock which is worth visiting for the views and has a church partially hidden on the seaward side at a slightly lower elevation. Glad I booked Imerovigli over Oia or Fira. It was quieter, more affordable, has amazing views and walking distance to great restaurants. Imerovigli is a stunning destination, with incredibly beautiful accommodations and restaurants. The only downside is the many stairs you need to climb, which can be tiring in the evening after a full day. On the other hand, in the early morning I really enjoyed jogging through the area. We loved Imerovigli. It has some lovely cafes and restaurants away from busy Fira which is just a 20 minute walk down the hill. Avocado restaurant is great for dinner and Ellie cafe next door excellent for great coffee and breakfast. Wonderful sunsets!!Guest review byPhilippaAustralia - 10.0

Beautiful town, great for travel to all other destinations on the island as it's nice and central and quieter than Oia, but the same beautiful white cliff buildings. I have been to Santorini multiple times in the past few years and I have stayed in different hotels but nothing can compare to this hotel! The view is amazing, you have a panoramic view of Santorini from Akrotiri to Oia and of course the amazing Skaros rock. The area feels very secluded/private and away from the crowds. They explained a lot of things about Santorini. The hotel is quiet, clean and the view is lovely. The location is in between Fira and Oia, but very close to beautiful Fira to Oia walk.
