It really feels like paradise. It's on the edge of the island and the city with a breathtaking view and beuatiful enterier. The staff was welcoming and kind - I had a great chat with one of the receptionist; they gave us a parasol to the beach and a medicine for sunburn, without a word. It's very clean and we spent most of our time at the pool when we didn't feel like going to the crowdy beaches.

It's really sweet and hidden away. The welcome pack was brilliant, fresh tomatoes, cucumbers and lemons. Wine and water in the fridge. Complimentary shower gel and shampoo. Tea, coffee and sugar. The A/C was also brilliant. Lovely cool wet room.

We stayed at Black Momentum Villas in Kefalonia as three families—each family in its own villa with a private pool—and the experience was absolutely perfect. From the very beginning, we received outstanding service: friendly, fast, and professional. Even when we had a brief power outage, the villa owner immediately sent a technician who resolved the issue quickly and efficiently. Every request we made was met with a positive response and handled within seconds, making us feel truly cared for. The villas themselves are stunning—fully equipped down to the smallest detail, impeccably clean, tastefully designed, and exuding a sense of luxury and comfort on a whole different level. We enjoyed every moment—whether it was the peaceful atmosphere, the beautiful views, or the private pools. We recommend it an unforgettable experience!

We stayed in this house for a week and absolutely loved it! Everything was very clean, cozy and thoughtfully arranged - we felt right at home. The atmosphere was peaceful and truly welcoming. A special thank you to the host, who treated us to her homemade pastries almost every day - it was such a lovely and delicious surprise! Many thanks for the warm hospitality and a wonderful stay. We came with our dogs and felt very welcome. The yard is fully fenced, which was perfect. The host greeted us with homemade jam and a bottle of wine – such a nice touch. Also, there’s a local taverna nearby where you can eat the best goat meat we’ve ever had. Highly recommend!

The views are amazing, the villa is very clean and tidy and modern. The pool was perfection and the view from the pool is out of this world. We plan to go back next year. The host was so helpful.

Some amazing views throughout the island and all restaurants...

Some amazing views throughout the island and all restaurants we visited had a variety of lovely food. We went to some of the more touristy locations, but didn’t have too bad queues, and they were generally worth the hype. The viewpoint overlooking Myrtos beach was a highlight, as was visiting Melissani Caves and having lunch in Assoss. We also drove to the top of Mount Ainos, which was exciting in our rental car and had epic views the whole way.

Kefalonia is our favourite Greek island and we simply cannot...

Kefalonia is our favourite Greek island and we simply cannot holiday anywhere else! The airport is low key, welcoming and efficient. Easy to get to any other part of the island from there. Plenty of pre-bookable hire car companies on site and within a few minutes' walk from the airport too. Stay south if you like sandy beaches or, like us, go north if you prefer white stone and shingle and the crystal clear Ionian water that comes with it! Kefalonia offers a bit of everything so perfect for those yearning for peace and tranquility as well as lively resorts who want more to do. Not sure if it's good for partying or clubbing though. Best to do your research. Book a sailing trip or ferry to Ithica to follow in Odesseus' footsteps, this is a must and you will come away with precious memories to last a lifetime.

It's a beautiful Island rich with greenery and flowers. Extremely clean Very polite people. Lovely houses and beautiful Villas. Great beaches. An island that is not over crowded or commercialised like some of the other Greek Islands!! No fake/copies of designer clothes/bags/watches!! Pretty shops/boutiques and lovely cafes/bars and restaurants. Nice to see that the locals care so much about their island.

A simply perfect destination - I traveled in Thailand and the East and all kinds of islands in Greece and Western Europe and it was simply a trip that exceeded all expectations - a combination of all the places and views taken from Thailand is simply perfect

Kefalonia is peaceful and unspoilt.

Kefalonia is peaceful and unspoilt. It is not packed with tourists and the pace of life is leisurely, great for a relaxing break. We enjoyed it so much in June we went back in September. The people are friendly and helpful and the views of the mountains and see are lovely no matter where you are on the island. If you a looking for noisy night life this is not the place for you but if you want to relax and unwind then this is the place to go.

We first came to Kefalonia, last year, considering we NEVER go anywhere twice, we came back, the people on this island are lovely and very helpful, English is spoken everywhere, they will try to help if they can. The food is fantastic and a lot of choice, seafood, meat, vegetables etc., all very fresh. Local wine is very nice (Robalo) and of course Mythos beer ! And yes I think we would go back again.
