Hotel Sylvia is in a wonderful position, in a garden of olive trees between mountains and a stone/sandy beach. It is quiet and during the night it is possible to hear the sound of the waves (depending on the room position). The rooms are simple, clean, with fridge, A/C (never used at the end of August), mosquito net, possibly a balcon with small table and chairs, daily cleaning and change of towels and sheets every 3 days. It is possible to have breakfast, salted and sweet, with fresh season fruit, homemade cakes, Greek yogurt, eggs/omelettes, feta cheese, toasts, olives (original from Thassos) and whatever one might wish. There is a swimming pool with sunbeds, and sunbeds are also in the garden a few meters far away from the beach. There's a large common terrace and a lot of common places where to sit, read, relax, and chat. The atmosphere is quiet and friendly, I'd say familiar, with Yianna and Giorgios providing everything from the beginning to the end of the stay. I personally appreciated the sunrises from my window, the sound of the sea, the garden, the silence, the general atmosphere, the chats with Yianna and Giorgios, the Yianna's apple- and plum-cakes (wow!).

Very super quiet place! I recommend it to everyone, we were with three children. Kiníra Beach, the best sandy beach of Thassos, is five minutes away. The hosts are extremely nice and helpful, we feel like we are at home. See you next year Miro&Lana! Thank you very much.
