The accommodation is fantastic! We have been to many places in the world, but this was one of the most beautiful. Renting a car is definitely necessary, otherwise it is difficult to get around. Christine, the host, is friendly and kind. There was food and drink waiting for us in the fridge, and he gave us a gift when we left. Important!: it is worth booking on the hotel's website, because the price is significantly better, and the booking was incorrect with us during the booking, which was very annoying.

Lovely rural location in the olive groves, next to the farm. Short walk to some restaurants, or a drive to the leeda's village complex. Rustic feel but all we needed, loved chilling by the pool in the hammock. Various wildlife such as donkeys and peacocks 😂

- all hotel employees are very kind, welcoming and always at the disposal of the customers. I received a lot of useful information about the island and the activities that can be done there. They arranged a private boat tour for us (thank you, Maria!) - the rooms are very clean. Cleaning is done daily - the hotel's location is perfect: very close to the airport (5 minutes by car); very close to Laganas and a starting point to all the attractions of the island - the hotel has free parking next to the hotel - I received a free room upgrade, with a view of the hills. Also, in the room I received from the hotel a beach bag with beach towels, a bottle of wine, a traditional dessert, daily bottles of water and at check out I received a gift set with spices, olives and olive oil. It is a very nice gesture from them, and this shows how much attention they pay to their customers - varied breakfast, especially sweets, jams, yogurt - very nice pool area A special thank you for Marelee!

I don’t really know where to begin, because words fall short to describe how special our stay at the Bizarro Boutique Hotel has been. We had booked eight nights in this fantastic hotel, but unfortunately, my boyfriend and I had a car accident during our holiday. From that moment on, the staff did everything they could to help us. Every single day, they came to the hospital to see how we were doing. They even brought us breakfast, so we still felt a little bit at home during those difficult days. When we were finally able to return to the hotel, extra amenities were waiting for us without us even having to ask. The hotel itself is spotlessly clean, peacefully located, and still close to the city centre. The interior is beautifully decorated with a modern, warm atmosphere that immediately makes you feel comfortable. The breakfast is excellent and very generous, with lots of fresh options every morning. The rooms are spacious, beautifully designed, and offer lovely views of the surrounding area. But what really makes it special is the genuine warmth and care of the entire team. We have never experienced such personal service anywhere. We didn’t feel like just guests, but truly welcomed and cared for like family. We are incredibly grateful for everything the hotel and the staff have done for us. We will definitely come back here many more times, because you rarely find hospitality like this. This hotel deserves all the praise and appreciation.

You are surround by olive groves - and if wanted - it's just a short drive in several directions to some beautiful small beaches where the water is beautifully warm - and certainly not overcrowded. Heaven!!!! Well worth hiring a car for the duration of the stay.

We had a stay at the private villa in Lithakia (July 2021). We enjoyed the amazing Laganas beach with many really great restaurants and bars. Local tavernas, especially Ole Ole is something special. Very tasty and beutiful restaurant. Directly from the beach we bought great tours - turtle spotting (must-see, especially from the small taxi boat), small islands. It's still always a good idea to rent a car on Zakynthos just in order to see everything. We had 7 days stay and only 4 of them we had a car but it was enough to see I suppose 80% of the island and enjoy another beaches and Shipwreck view

A corner of paradise. If you get here, trust the professionals, buy boat trips on the sea, rent a car to admire the island, let yourself be pampered by the locals, who know how to sell their tourist services! Congratulations Zakynthos!

At the fishing port, two loggerhead turtles wander among the distracted tourists, coming to eat the morning's catch thrown from the local fishermen's boats. The beach is used by locals and is a stopover for day-trip boat trips.

Zakynthos is generally beautiful.

Zakynthos is generally beautiful. From Agios Sostis, where the residence is located, the view of the bay is lovely, but the area around the beach is unsightly. The photos of the residence on Booking.com do not accurately reflect the property's upkeep. Laganas (town and beach) should be avoided at all costs.

This was the perfect property for a relaxed family holiday. This family run hotel has the perfect atmosphere, lovely staff, the most incredible setting with breathtaking views and a great selection of facilities including boat hire and paddle boarding. There’s also a small selection of lovely restaurants and shops within a short work (all with the same beautiful views). If you don’t fancy a walk, the food at the hotel is delicious too, and the restaurant has one of the best views you could wish for!
