Even the taxi drivers were having difficulty finding the hotel.
Unfortunately we won't be visiting again !
Absolutely would not recommend it if you want a fun packed holiday with great quality food and drink !

Lovely hotel and very clean. Breakfast very good.
Lovely hotel and very clean. Breakfast very good. The pool area and gardens were lovely. The only downside was there were a few people / families around the pool that were not guests taking up sun beds.
Overall excellent hotel with a few restaurants within easy walk.

Very small town but good selection of bars, restaurants and hotels. Always the sound of the sea gently lapping the shore.
A short walk out of town takes you to a smart restaurant called Samia and a lovely rustic Greek taverna serving fresh fish and both right by the sea.

We were welcomed with a smile and warm greetings. Informed us of the times food would be served, for evening and breakfast, asked if we needed anything, if so please ask. Helpful with directions to local restaurants. The hotel was super clean and fresh, our room had good view of the sea, clean, bed was comfortable.

Quiet local area with a couple of places to eat out. Good food and a small local shop. The hotel is around 40 minutes to Athens town, taxi's are between 35 to 40€. 48€ if you book through the hotel. Local bus is hourly but to get to Athens you'd need to change and then get a train. We only went into Athens for one day via taxi and crammed everything in. If you book a return taxi it's cheaper. Athens Site-seeing, markets and local shops are fabulous. We walked around Mati but it's in the suburbs so no site-seeing. but our holiday was to relax and Mati hotel was perfect for that. We'd go again.

We liked the pool and beach view from our room.
We liked the pool and beach view from our room. We liked the outdoor dining option overlooking the beautiful Aegean Sea and good waiter service. We really liked our early morning swim in the lovely warm sea, on our last day in Greece before the long flight back to Australia. That was a highlight. I would recommend Mati as a relaxing option outside of the hectic city centre of Athens. I wished we’d stayed there longer.

The manager and staff were incredibly welcoming and attentive throughout our stay, making the travel experience truly enjoyable, very good Greek breakfast with lovely local sweets, beds are comfy, rooms have individual modern air conditioning, good size TV and beautiful view,
It's a perfect choice if you need a break between ferry and airport.
We arrived by ferry to Rafina - hotel is only 5 min away by taxi and it took us about 20 min by taxi to get to the airport ( SUN morning)
will definitely be back

We had a wonderful stay at NLH Mati Seafront. Location and the view from outdoor terrace is just spectacular. Staff members are very friendly and attentive. We stayed at one of the suites, must say it was great and the perfect size for us 3. Thank you Peggy for your hospitality, your positive personality really made an impact.
We will definitely come back again and we recommend this hotel to many other friends of ours from Switzerland.

What a fantastic hotel,the furniture was amazing.The colour scheme in the bedroom was beautiful, great attention to detail. Super king sized bed.Great pool & they supply pool towels.
Food in both snack bar & dining room was superb.The staff were so friendly & helpful.We arrived early & were able to check in. We only stayed for 3 nights to catch our flight home but would loved to have stayed longer.Would highly recommend Mati hotel.

We used this hotel for 2 nights at the start and end of a trip to Andros. We liked its proximity to the port of Rafina and Athens Airport. It was good value for money and entirely in line with what we would expect, given what it cost. The room was perfectly adequate and the breakfast completely satisfying. We also found the staff to be extremely friendly.

Very welcoming and cute place, went there only for one night after coming back from Mykonos at Rafinas port.
The girls i've met were very kind and guided me in the area, i loved all the flowers when you enter and in this part of the city.
Went on a little stroll to the beach before taking the plane this morning, very quiet area.
