Loved our stay here. Calm clean and gorgeous. Plenty of room. Views were amazing, the whole place was even better than I expected from the photos. Swimming in the infinity pool high above the harbour was a treat. Couldn't believe the views each time I walked out the front door. Staff were really kind. We got a free upgrade to a room with sea views, and when there was a problem with our next accommodation they accommodated us. ps. there is a €2 seabus that ferries you to the old port and old town every 30 mins. Then delivers you back right near the bottom of the road. And the restaurant at the bottom of the road is great. Prices better than in town, food portion, sizes, service all great.

The location was great to catch the ferry to Naxos.

The location was great to catch the ferry to Naxos. Sea taxi into Mykonos town and in the town was extremely busy with the people from the cruise ships. Mykonos is beautiful but very expensive. The new port for the ferry’s is a nightmare a free for all with very little help telling you where to go or what to do. I’m glad I’ve experienced it, but I won’t go again.

Tourlos is pretty much just the port so v v busy either ferries and most days 3 or 4 cruise ships as well. Doesn’t have a village feel the hotel is on a very busy main road with no pavement so you can’t really walk along to explore.

Definitely the magnificent views and the friendliness of the people. We were told that food and drinks were expensive. But there are plenty of restaurants that had more reasonable prices. To get the most of our trip there, we rented an auto so we can travel to other beaches to avoid the strong winds. There are also less expensive vehicles to rent like ATV, motorcycles, and vespas.

Tourlos is at the best a suburb of Mykonos, and we didn't see anything special;The place is in a few kilometers distance from Mykonos center. To get there on foot, make sure you have good knees and ankles. Shopping food and specially water is not straight forward around the area. Specially carrying water , if you do no have a car, it would be tiresome. The tab water is only usable for taking shower. The hostess was kind enough to leave a bottle of water for drinking to start with.

Tourlos is certainly a less expensive alternative to Mykonos Old Town---as a hotel location---while proving easy and inexpensive access (€2/passenger with the Sea Bus) to the Mykonos Old Town. The island of Mykonos is ,however,---as a preferred party island for especially the younger visitors---not my preferred Greek Island, for exploring historic sites or even enjoying places with a unique volcanic history and topography (like Santorini)....

You need a car to stay in that hotel. It is far away from the port or the town. The distance 2.0 - 2.5km may not be too much, but you must consider that the property is high up on the hill. The hotel is located in Paradeisia village and not in Tourlos. The hotel should provide free transfer at least from the port and back. In any case, you will spend at least an extra 50-80 euros for a taxi or a rental car.

The hotel is very new, clean, and has nice decor and many elements to be great, but some things are just off (prices, empathy, jacuzzi temperature). The staff is kind and seems to want to be helpful, but all answers we got to the different problems seemed quite robotic and unnatural.

The location; close to the new port and with the Sea Bus which goes to town stopping opposite the hotel. The on-site restaurant, Molaraki. The transfers to and from port and airport included in the price. The friendliness of the staff. The clean, quiet, comfortable room.

* Lady at reception was delightful * Facilities were beautiful (room and outside) We stayed one night here after our ferry was cancelled due to poor weather. This hotel remains one of our favourites even at the end of our long trip.
