The Camp is located at a wonderful small beach, surrounded by palm trees and mangrove forest. The whole small camp is designed were nicely and made with a lot of love. It has a very nice chill/kitchen area with a large table to get together with the other guests and volunteers. We could join the family dinner and breakfast for some extra money, which was very tasty. We did rent kayaks and went to the mangrove forest. The host Laurence helped a lot in preparing the trip and gave us a lot of information to arrive to the camp and go to Livingston. She was very helpful and kind as the other guest were. I would recommend to stay at least three nights, but a few days longer would probably be even better.

The whole experience was next level. The accommodation was a dream, the staff was superb, and the meals were unbelievably delicious and hearty. Booked only for one night, so next time, I will also take some of the great tours they offer (e.g., the sunrise kayak tour or a hike to the waterfalls nearby). I warmly recommend this place!

Absolutely everything. It is very rare when you arrive at your accommodation that you are actually lost for words about how amazing the place you have just arrived at is. Daria and Doug were welcoming and warm from the moment that we arrived, and honestly, the Villa we stayed in blew us away. It is truly beautiful and even has its own private lagoon, for God's sake. The bed is super comfortable, and we felt like we had a real home away from home for a few days. The food and drinks at the restaurant are excellent, and honestly, we just never wanted to leave. We cannot recommend this place highly enough. It is remote, has awesome access to Livingston and is a great lancha journey from the main town itself, which is really nothing more than a landing point. I had been eyeing off this place since the owners first opened last November and waiting for some reviews to appear and feel really fortunate that we were able to secure the Villa and stay at this incredible part of the world. Cannot recommend any more highly.

When we arrived we felt like at home. All of their workers there are super nice, have a nice smile and they make everything happen that you feel super nice there. The standard of everything there is just higher than in any other hotel we have been so far in Guatemala. If it comes to the shower, bathroom, bed or any other facilities, it’s just great! Also the small details! And the best thing is really as already mentioned the staff there. This is one of the hotels where you will say in a few years, remember the „El Viajero“ in rio dulce, and you‘ll immediately remember which one it was.

Ismael is a gem, super helpful and friendly - he really cares about the people coming through his beautiful hotel right on the water, with a gorgeous pier with hammocks to chill in, tube rings to float in and a pier to jump off (if it's not hurricane season, that is). The staff are friendly and helpful, and even got my laundry done for me which was much needed. Drinks are reasonably priced and they have a happy hour. I tried some veggie curry which was beautiful, and the dorm bed I slept in was very comfy. Overall the place is really beautifully designed and maintained, and they offer a boat ride to Rio Dulce right of their dock, which is super convenient. There are small lockers in the dorm.

I loved my stay there, amazing place in the middle of the jungle, great atmosphere! They take care of everything. The place has a restaurant and they offer a range of activities (kayak, waterfalls, beach…)
