The quiet and comfortable location of the accommodation. We were given detailed information about the area (where to eat, what to do, traffic suggestions...) before and upon our arrival. It was very easy to communicate with the landlords, despite the fact they spoke little English and I completely failed my German, but we got along great! 🙂👍 It's a great location for visiting many great sites in the area (neanderthal man museum, castles, vineyards ...) and the landscape is beautiful.

The destination and accomodation Pod orehom was an amazing place. We were there for 2 nights, the room was beautiful and clean. The possibility of using the pool in hot summer days was perfect bonus to our stay at apartament. The Host Lady was helpful and nice, she gave us also welcome drink - wine and another day she gave us cakes which were delicious. If we go back to Krapina, we will absolutely stay here again. Thank you :)

A nice looking town, located on the hills.

A nice looking town, located on the hills. Traditional format Lidl store is 3-5 minutes walk from train station. Also there is a Konzum store. The town is not crowdy, therefore, no problems with comfortable driving and parking. Very nice views, pleasant people. Kids were happy to play with cats and dogs. We stayed there for an overnight on our way to the seaside.

Cozy town the highlight of which is the Neanderthal Museum. Walk-able center and provides everything you should need for your stay. Numerous and varied entertainment spots dotted around town - from Bars/Cafes/Restaurants/Bakery/dessert house/ a few museums/ Close to walking trails/ nearby winery, to list a few. Also a central location to other various day trip little towns.

We only stayed in Krapina for one night, twice, on our way...

We only stayed in Krapina for one night, twice, on our way South. This town is a little gem hidden in the mountains, rather quiet and slow, no traffic, etc. Neanderthal museum is fun. The views are awesome, mountains look amazing. Next time we'll be staying longer!!

There is a Neanderthal museum there.

There is a Neanderthal museum there. Everyone recommends it to us, but we didn't make it, so we want to repeat our visit to Krapina. We visited a restaurant in Vuglec Breg (about 10km). Magical atmosphere, excellent food, but the price was also appropriate.

A small town with a beautiful and interesting offer, from museums to gastronomic offerings, we were there for the weekend and getting away from the city's everyday life to a small town completely met our expectations, we highly recommend the Kramberger PUB and restaurant

We stopped in Krapina on our way back from Hvar for a...

We stopped in Krapina on our way back from Hvar for a transit overnight stay. The town made a positive impression on us during our short stay. It was quiet and peaceful, with the opportunity to stroll around the center, grab a meal (there are plenty of restaurants), and do some shopping.
