    The main building in lake was closed for reconstruction and the lake was tooo cold for me. It should have been warmer at the end of September. It looks like the reconstruction will go forever because iI dod not see any workers. It is too cold to stay out of the main building. And they do not even give a discount. Should have gone to Budapest instead,

    A lovely, well-kept little town with a good range of offerings. For good Hungarian cuisine, the friendly receptionist at the hotel directed us to the restaurant Teri Nama, and the food was really good. Swimming in the lake was an interesting experience.

    Not so friendly stuff workers and people, without empaty.... Sadly.. Heviz termal lake very expensive for nothing, They close vital bar 15 minutes before closing. 3 young girls, 1 young boy is rude and arogant. Very dissapointed. They so us to came in bar 20 minutes to bar,no one come to ask for serve. When we personaly come to waiter and want to take like self service. He said :IT'S CLOSED!!! Very arogant-sorry for VItal Bar Boss to pay so young and arogant stuff.

    The biggest atraction of Heviz is a thermal lake, and complete city is dedicated to that, Lake has covered part where the water is more hot and can be used during cold weather. City itself is very clean with lot of green areas, and pedestrian and bikee lanes. Of course, most of the buildings are Hotels from fancy ones up to modest places. Rent a bike, it is very nice to ride towards Balaton lake and castle, highly recommended. In my opinion, in case you are coming as a tourist it is a good point from which you can explore area and enjoy thermal waters. Advised for 3 - 4 nights stay, I have not seen the place with that number of thai massage places like Heviz :)

    Friendly people and beautiful and relaxing environment. An international tourist hotspot and by right so Close to lake Balaton and close to other interesting activities towns and cities. A jewel in this region.

    A beautiful town, with a lot of green spaces and flowers. Very nice center and parks. Good places to eat, but, definitely, one of the most wonderful castle we visited : Festetics (placed in Keszthely - which also is a nice town, few km away from Heviz)

    Everything :) Rooms are big enough with plenty of space. Very clean. Quiet area. Not far from the City center and thermal lake. Bikes and foams rental for free. Good breakfast with variety of selection. Free sauna for hotel guests. Very nice and friendly service personel. We were very happy to spend time there in mid October.

    Totally exceeding all expectation for the modest price paid: we had a hotel style room, spacious almost a suite 😀, clean and well equipped and a small pool sauna at our disposal. The center and lake thermal can be reached within 10-15 minutes walk.
