It is a lovely place. Huge, well maintained park around the castle, very peaceful and green surroundings. We got a free room upgrade so could relax on a 40 sqm terrace :) +16 C, sun and first flowers in the last days of February. The apartment was very comfortable, there was a lot of space in the bathroom. It is not emphasized anywhere on booking site, but there is kind of a daily wellness programme offered for free - stretching, breathe exercises in aroma sauna (wooden sauna house located in the garden!), aqua gym and even painting :) It was not yet allowed to swim in the outdoor pool but I can imagine how lovely that is in summer. The indoor pool is small but nice. During our Hungary trips we noticed the pools there are not designed for swimming but purely for relax, the water in them is therefore very, very warm. We liked both breakfasts and dinners, some typical Hungarian food was offered: pepper sausage, duck leg, goulash soup (luckily we are not vegetarian ;). We prolonged our stay to 3 nights and still did not manage to use all of the facilities as had also some car rides to the Balaton lake and villages around so I think this place can be recommended for at least 1 week vacation.

Great location with the surrounding environmet, beautiful atmosphere and really great staff. Most friendly and helpful receptionist ever. Everything about the resort was exceptional. It was very clean, stylish, and the apartments are huge! On my second stay, I also got a sauna on the balcony. So very well equipped. Food was good and great value for money and service was attentive and efficient. I was very pleased with my stay. When I will visit Zala again, I will definately come back to Zala Springs!

The property has all the listed amenities and the apartment we stayed in was very spacious. The whole place is designed in a way so we could relax, close to nature, fresh air, comfortable bed to sleep in, breakfast delivered to your door. The breakfast was amazing, huge selection of good quality local products. Animals in the resort had a lot of space and are very friendly, especially if you give them some apples (which is also provided by the resort). The owners and staff are very welcoming and take good care of the guests. We loved our stayed here and would be happy to return!

The Kis Haz Apartman is located in a quiet area which is plus for us. We slept really well and so we slept a lot :) The lake Heviz is 5 min by car ( about 10 km ), you can park in front of the apartment. The small coop grocery store is 3 min away by foot. We were with two barking chihuahuas which had space to stretch their legs in front of apartment in the garden. The kitchen is really well equipped with everything. We definitely recommend the place.

The rooms are clean and quite spacious. The restaurant prepares excellent meals for breakfast you can choose hot or cold dishes, if something runs out it is replenished. Dinner consists of 3 kinds of appetizers 2 kinds of soups and several main courses and dessert. The cuisine is varied - vegetarian, meat, Asian. In addition, an excellent spa with 4 types of sauna, 2 Jacuzzis of different temperatures and other facilities.

Very good hotel, close to thermal lake and shopping facilities. We had problems finding the hotel parking garage, which is on the road few blocks futher on, but it leads you to hotel. I recommend parking in front of a hotel (for a few minutes to ger parking instructions, quite complicated). Parking isn't for free. Other options is to park on payable open parking places . The hotel has art nouveau glammour, inside swimming pool and very good family suites.

The ideal place for golfers, lovers of thermal baths, spas and wellness, and good food and wine. Zala Springs is ranked the no.1 golf course in Hungary and is literary over the road. The other two interesting courses are in a range of 90 min driving.

An 18th century building, adapted for hotel service.

An 18th century building, adapted for hotel service. A peaceful, quiet place to relax and relieve stress. A relatively short first stay, without much time to explore the surroundings, but all in all nice. A place with good road connections /about an hour to an hour and a half to Slovenia and Croatia/. It was absolutely worth coming.

The castle and the entire estate are magnificent!

The castle and the entire estate are magnificent! The food is delicious and varied, and the staff is kind and helpful. The wellness area is well equipped, the saunas both inside and outside provide a pleasant experience! In summary: Great relaxation and unwinding in the busy weekdays!

A small village in a rural, idyllic setting.

A small village in a rural, idyllic setting. The hotel could be better signposted. It's close to the well-known thermal baths of Heviz and Zalakaros. There's also a thermal bath in the neighboring village of Kehidakustany, which I wasn't aware of until now. The area is ideal for relaxation, cycling, excursions to nearby towns around Lake Balaton, and visits to thermal baths.

An old farmhouse has been converted into a small hotel, offering a serene and almost mystical ambiance. Situated just a few kilometers off the main road, the place is accessible via a narrow but well-maintained road that any car can easily navigate. Breakfast features delicious local products, adding to the authentic experience. If you're lucky, you might spot deer and alpacas in their nearby enclosures. English is spoken and card payments are accepted.. Having your own transportation is essential.

The rooms were amazing, the whole atmosphere with the castle park is super. We loved the fact that We could get to take Our dog with us to a hotel with Spa facilities. Breakfast and dinner selections were great too.

Location is great. There is free access to the park and outdoor spa area (heated pool, sauna from 14 to 17 pm) of a castle hotel. The villa is nice, but the apartment is not well kept.
