Better than the pictures! Amazing hotel, I had the standard room which was beautiful. Very big, mine had a desk, lots of drawers, very comfy bed and excellent AC. Everything was new. Huge wardrobe and bathroom with really good water pressure. Best values hotel I've stayed at. Stagg were so friendly, I had an amazing massage as well on the premises. It's not too remote, there are good local Warungs about but you can order food in. There were no vegetarian options on the menu but I ordered off menu and they accommodated me well. The pool was better than it looked in the pictures, sunrise and set set were amazing everyone at the hotel gatheres around to watch them each night it was so nice. I booked for 2 nights and extended one more night, I could have stayed for much longer. I didn't want to leave

This hotel is truly exceptional, and easily the best I’ve ever stayed at. The location is perfect for those seeking a peaceful retreat away from the noise and bustle of Ubud. The hotel offers everything you could possibly need, including the best food and spa in the area. In fact, we tried visiting a few cafes outside, and honestly, there's no reason to leave! :D Well, except for the beautiful temples nearby and beaches, of course. The staff here is outstanding, everyone is incredibly friendly, fluent in English, and always willing to assist. I reached out multiple times throughout the day for various requests, and they responded quickly and efficiently, without hesitation or unnecessary follow-up questions. It was such a seamless experience. The rooms are spacious and exactly as shown in the pictures, which was a pleasant surprise. Another thoughtful touch was their availability of yoga mats, which made it easy to stay active during my stay. The spa experience was nothing short of a dream. After a rejuvenating scrub and stress-relief facial, my skin was glowing. The next day, I followed it up with a massage, and it was an absolute 10/10 experience. The location is wonderfully remote, which we loved. However, I understand that it might be a bit inconvenient for some, as you’ll need a bike to reach the nearest shops. Personally, I didn’t enjoy walking in the area, so we immediately rented a motorbike, which was brought to us the same night, thanks to the hotel manager. That made it easy for us to explore the surroundings, but honestly, with everything the hotel has to offer, it was almost unnecessary! I highly recommend this hotel—it’s worth every penny. The level of service they provide is unmatched, and honestly, for such a high-quality experience, the price feels even cheap. But I hope they don’t start charging more, because I’d love to come back! :D Thank you so much for everything you did for us, dear team of Seaside Oceana Suites!!

Our three-night stay at The Kirana Tembok hotel was nothing short of a serene escape. Nestled in tranquility, this place felt like a slice of paradise on Earth. Its so amazing that everything is handled by the staff and charges are also handled so we don't have to pull out cash everytime we needed something. This is truly a place that takes care of all our needs while visiting. The staff is extremely helpful and the extras they do make you feel special.

Tejakula is a great place away from the busy tourist areas...

Tejakula is a great place away from the busy tourist areas of the south beaches. There are great Warungs, bars and markets for shopping. We saw waterfalls, temples, hot springs and a family run salt farm. Quiet walks along the black sand beach and making friends with the locals are some of the reasons why we will come back to Tejakula.

The lack of traffic, the water is clean and clear I I live in Cairns on The Great Barrier Reef and found some splendid fresh, alive and undamaged coral to the right of a place called Prana Veda. Friendly people, no one nagging you. I eat wherever the locals eat usually, get a scooter use map app and explore

You have to try hard to discover it.

You have to try hard to discover it. Good for explorers not the typical tourists looking for insta ready things to do! Widis taxi right outside Alamanda resort is a great option to take you around. Widi is reasonable and if he likes you he gets his wife along for a one way drop to give you company.

Has the basics, food, liquor, friendly people and nice views. No footpath to walk on, there was a scooter hire place but I did not need it, has an ATM but not for Aussie Card Holders = that is 1.2km North of town. 3-4 nights here is about the right amount of time.

Away from the hustle and bustle of south Bali super tourist spots. Genuine location near local village - quiet lifestyle of locals. Plenty of day trip options to temples, volcano, waterfalls. Scuba area well known for the reef diving. Just lovely and not a 'try hard' area.

We liked that it wasn't touristy at all.All the little shops down the road were locals shops.we watched locals net fish and make salt.local people drove us to interesting local places.roosters woke us up at sunrise.we could hear the ocean at night.

Absolutely THE best place we’ve ever been ( we travel lots). We chose longer stay instead of hoping from one place to another. It was the best decision. We could chill in these super cool conditions, huge villa with edgeless pool with perfect ocean view or we could hire their car with super friendly, helpful driver and visit whatever we chose from any Bali destination. There are only three villas in the complex so you have it practically to yourself. Book when available. Greetings to all the staff - you are the best!

Perfect getway in a not very touristic part of Bali. Just next to a Salt Farm where you can take a look how the farmers are making the special Tejakula sea salt. The host also provided some salt and we bought some at the factory. We were the only people for our stay of two nights. Be aware that there is nothing else around. Food and Drinks can be bought at the in-house restaurant. offering simple yet delicious food like Gado Gado, Nasi Goreng, Soto Ayam, etc.

The location was great to get away from the hustle and bustle. The room was great for the price, with cold shower and the pool all to ourselves. Small Villa with only 4 rooms and right near the beach. Very peaceful. Beautiful well priced restaurant in walking distance. Bali back in the 70s.

Beautiful peaceful, serene spot. Amazing gardens. Matt, Putu, their family and all the staff are amazing hosts. The food in the restaurant is fabulous and made from scratch, some of the best food we’ve tasted in the whole of Bali. Fantastic swimming pool.
