I was so happily surprised, I stayed in three four star hotels in our trip home for Christmas and across Ireland this was actually my favourite place to stay. The place was clean, modern, large rooms and the bed was so comfortable too.

Everything about The Cliff House Hotel, from the hotel and ALL the staff there was absolutely wonderful. We had a fantastic holiday. Food was brought to you within 5min. Hot food - was hot, cold food - was cold. If anything I have to mention is more Vegetarian/Vegan selection on the menu's, but the food we had was absolutely lovely. Thank you to The Cliff House Hotel, it helped us to make wonderful, beautiful memories of a great holiday. The view from the hotel is just - breathtaking.

The room and shower was a tad small for 2 people, but the lovely welcoming friendly staff, great location and a fantastic breakfast made up for that. The location is absolutely stunning and quiet. Sort of rural with cows in the back yard. I would definitely highly recommend this Bnb.

We really enjoyed watching and milking the cows.

We really enjoyed watching and milking the cows. What's interesting is the contrast between life next to the farm and the very attractive seaside resort of Ballybunion just a few kilometers away.

A very small village. One shop and maybe a pub. I don't know exactly because I used most of the services in nearby towns: Listowel, Ballybunion.

The owners were wonderful and made the stay very enjoyable. Lovely wee dog, too, Roxie. Breakfasts were good, with the option of cereals & yoghurt as well as the full fry. No view to speak of from my room at the rear of the house, but the immediate vicinity is fantastic and the causeway approach adds to the sense of welcome isolation. I really enjoyed the walks around the island, and visiting the nearby Abbey outside of Ballylongford, as well as Listowel, Ballybunion Beach, etc.

The house is in a peaceful and stunning location about two miles from Ballylongford. The hosts are very friendly and have run their business for thirty years. The home is not as modern as some other b+bs, but my bed was very comfortable, and I thoroughly enjoyed my breakfast.

Excellent breakfast - the choice put hotels to shame. Location was a bit tucked away and quiet but that was nice. You could walk to a nearby beach.
