Culdaff is such a lovely small village located on Innishowen...

Culdaff is such a lovely small village located on Innishowen Peninsula east coast. Its location and area allows you to view either the rugged countryside or the glorious North Atlantic Ocean with Bunnagee and Dunmore Head in between. Hospitality from the locals is guaranteed to make you welcome and local bars certainly add to the occasions. Highly recommended for a short stay

Great beach in Culdaff with play park for children.

Great beach in Culdaff with play park for children. The beach is great for walking and lovely for swimming. A short drive away if sightseeing you can do to Kinneago Bay and Malin head. The Innishowen peninsula has some amazing scenery highly recommend. We also had a lovely visit to the Wild Alpaca Way.

Beautiful beach and only a short drive to Doagh Famine...

Beautiful beach and only a short drive to Doagh Famine village. It was quiet when we stayed at the end of May but there is a shop where you can buy wine and beer etc. We ate in McGroarys and walked around the old graveyard before heading to the beach which is only a short walk away. There was a lovely mist around the bridge walking back to Ceecliff House which was just beautiful.

The beach; amazing!

The beach; amazing! I was familiar with it because we took our children over many times years ago but it was just wonderful to be there with a friend. Chatting away to so many people who live there. We went inside one of the pubs (only the beer garden was open due to covid), and we had a great chat and laugh with the owner and other staff. Lovely. People are great we got so much help when we almost missed our bus! Customers in a wee grocery shop were all doing their best to find out about the busses' timetable! Staff in the hotel arranged a taxi! Thank you all from Laura and Caron.

This is a real gem of a place in the inishowen peninsula. The whole place far exceeded our expectations, and we would definitely recommend it to anyone. The hosts couldn't do enough for us from the minute we arrived, and the pods were absolutely prestine. The pods are cituated only 2 minutes from Culdaff beach, which is also one of the best beaches we have been to in Ireland. Would highly recommend this place to anyone, and we will hope to return sometime again in the future.

Warm welcome on arrival and throughout our stay. Breakfasts were outstanding and dinner menu offered choices to our liking. Entertainment was very good and the atmosphere throughout the hotel at all times was as we had hoped for. At night the hotel was quiet. Prices were to our liking and location is spot on for access to key sights in Donegal and of course the Clonmany Festival. Staff throughout the hotel could not have been more welcoming and efficient.

Nothing is too much trouble for Michael and Ann. You get a very warm welcome, tea/coffee and biscuits, a lovely breakfast (cereal, juice, yoghurt, fruit, cooked breakfast, toast,tea/coffee) and a good night's sleep. Michael gave me a lift down to Culdaff beach. Ceecliff House is close to the two pubs in the village and shop, twenty minutes walk to the beach or Bunagee Pier. I was visiting family who live nearby so the location is perfect for me.

Excellent location for exploring the Innishowen peninsula, Carndonagh town nearby for big supermarket etc. Culdaff small shop for local bits, McGrorys welcoming and friendly pub/restaurant for tourists. Roomy driveway, really comfortable beds, 2 bathrooms upstairs and a spacious WC downstairs. Comfy sofa to chill in the evening, large kitchen plenty of space for storage etc. Washing machine very handy as we ran lots and needed to wash clothes.

The property was very clean throughout, and had a very homely feel. There was plenty of spares of everything from kitchen ware to towels and extras were thought about including blankets, cleaning products etc. We loved our stay and will be back to Culdaff in the future.
