Unfortunately our time in Donegal was tainted because we could never reach the Bridges Bed and Breakfast staff to check in. We waited two hours in the car calling, knocking on door, texting etc We ended up having to book another room elsewhere only to learn that the host is known for not showing up. Loved Donegal Castle - it's all walkable. We had hoped to take the boat trip but it is at the mercy of the tides and the sailing wasn't going until 4pm on the day we were leaving - so we weren't able to do this. You can do Donegal in a day.
