Located next to the river and some amazing sceneries this yurt is a unique experience for someone who is looking for a gateaway. The facilities provided make the experience cozy and comfortable. The property is stunning and very tastefully furnished. There were two large comfortable sitting rooms,a lovely well equipped kitchen and a large bedroom with beautiful bed linen. The garden was extremely pleasant and the herd of sheep in view from the dining table was very restful as well as amusing.Our hostess was very welcoming and helpful and had provided us with a very generous welcome pack. It was in a very quiet location but once we had sorted out the local geography we easily found our way round the attractive countryside.

This area won’t be right for everyone.

This area won’t be right for everyone. My husband and I arrived after an extended trip to England and the Isle of Man. We were not in the mood for busy tourist areas. The Town of Aughrim is so sweet, and really gives you an idea of rural Irish life. There were enough things to see in the area for us, such as Avoca Woolen mills, Glendalagh Monestery, Russborough house, and Wicklow Town.

I had car trouble and my phone wasn't working properly they...

I had car trouble and my phone wasn't working properly they made calls for me and also brought us drinks and allowed us the use of the bathroom after we had checked out and were awaiting the tow truck. Excellent service!

Fine location, very friendly host . Fine Irish breakfast. Just one point to mention for dinner you need to drive a few kilometres further , there is one restaurant (from hotel) in the neighbourhood but have not always free table due to reservation of hotel guests .

I want to go back.

I want to go back. A wonderful old house in the country, not far from Aughrim. Beautiful countryside, amazing views from the house. The house is immaculate and interesting. Svetlana and Jeff have loved this house and it shows. Everything is chic, unique and amazing. This is not a hotel it is a piece of history and is so comfortable. I am going back in the summer to lounge on the deck and watch the sunset over the wicklow mountains.

We went to BrookLodge and Macreddin for a wedding so didn’t...

We went to BrookLodge and Macreddin for a wedding so didn’t explore much of the surrounding area, but from the drive in, it looked beautiful.. once at the hotel we found that to be as equally as beautiful

Our stay at knockview was amazing it was very cosy and comfortable, home away from home, beautiful house very peaceful and tranquil, our host Karen was lovely and her hospitality went above and beyond to meet our needs''she could not do enough for us, she made us feel very welcome, breakfast was delicious and the warmth from the kitchen she is absolutely great hostess, me and husband totally enjoyed staying here and truly recommend a stay at this beautiful place in Aughrim 🇮🇪 fáilte

We had a wonderful time. Unfortunately, we were only able to spend one night at the glamping, but it was truly a refreshing experience. Martin is extremely helpful and kind, the place is carefully maintained in every detail and has everything you need for a relaxing stay in contact with nature. We also had the chance to grill some skewers we bought from the local butcher in Aughrim in the kitchenette area. We’ll definitely be back!

Extremely kind and welcoming staff, felt like we were at home rather than a hotel! I was attending a wedding locally and was stranded when realising there aren't any taxi options and was picked up by the owner who didn't want any charge for the hassle, brilliant breakfast and brilliant staff, would recommend to anyone!
