We had such a great time here. The owner was a great communicator and everything was as described. We had a toddler with us and she had so much fun. The bath was the perfect size for her! It was very handy having two separate bathrooms for two couples. The location was great beside the lake so we could swim and fish. We made great use of the garden and picnic bench too. Only a short drive to town for shopping and take away!

The staff and facilities were just what we needed for a quick escape to Galway. We had a 6 month year old and they were wonderfully attentive. Their Christmas displays are amazing too. One of the best stays I’ve had anywhere in Ireland.

We had the pleasure of staying a few years ago in the castle, but must say the Lodge was an amazing, relaxing place, great art, and wonderful staff and no doubt to go back in near future, five star service equal to the castle.

Great Student Residence. Must be wonderful to stay longer to use all the facilities. Great for Bachpackers for sure. Shop is in the building and open until 10pm. Only if you like some berr for the night, bring your own.
