We recently had the pleasure of staying at this wonderful accommodation, and I can't stop raving about it! From the moment we stepped in, we greeted with warmth and impeccable hospitality. This gem of a place is in a great location — 5-minute drive to Ardara and 10 minutes to Killybegs. We probably managed to discover most of the southern part of County Donegal because An Charraig Ban is so centrally located. Helen and Gerard are great hosts. Helen thinks of everything to make your stay pleasant (even lets you pick a time for her lovely breakfast) and obviously cares about your experience. We loved chatting with them both. Our room had an en suite, which was perfect for us. The beds are comfy, the room is spacious, and having a full bathroom to ourselves was really convenient. Bonus: One of Helen and Gerard's sons, Ben, makes tweed items — as is a long-standing tradition in the area and in their family. We bought two beautiful scarves, so we'll have a regular reminder of our visit to beautiful County Donegal. We suggest you do the same.

We were warmly welcomed by our hosts, they helped carry our luggage for us. Our room was spacious, clean, tidy and had a great view of the harbor. The bathroom was all we needed. We were directed to good places to eat. We had a continental breakfast which was all we wanted.
