We had a really great stay here. Easy to get to other sights in the surrounding area, just a 15min drive to Killarney. Pods were spotless and with everything you need in kitchen. Our welcome was very warm and genuine from the couple running the property! Would highly recommend!

Woodlands B nd B is definitely the best B nd B we have ever stayed in. Eilish nd family were most welcoming , friendly nd accommodating, their home is beautifully decorated, the bedroom was spotless, with a beautiful ensuite nd powerful shower. The breakfast was only fantastic, such an extended menu, far better than any 5* hotel, the breakfast omelette was gorgeous as were the homemade scones. I can highly recommend the Woodlands B nd B.

I stayed here on Halloween night and it was THE perfect location. Old cemetery literally across the street from it. The restaurant took amazing care of me and my vegan requests. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. The room was cozy and large. There was a dog on the property :)

Castleisland is a lovely small town surrounded by scenic...

Castleisland is a lovely small town surrounded by scenic farmland. It is not a typical tourist destination. There are good roads to the town. It's pretty sleepy after 6pm. Tralee is about 15 minutes away and Killarney is less than a half hour away if you want restaurants and shopping. And there are several tourist options that are close by such as the Dingle Peninsula, the Ring of Kerry, Blarney Castle and KIllarney National Park.

Sad, sad place 20 min outside of Killarney.

Sad, sad place 20 min outside of Killarney. There is nothing to see, eat or do. A few cute pubs, as often many restaurants close at 5 / 5:30 pm, most stores as well. Don’t go to the cave, it’s a rip off, the whole place is depressing.

We didn't see much as we arrived about 8pm and left early. We did have a short walk , but it wasn't enough to take a good look around. There were alot of shops and the hotel was on the main street

Very pleasant lady.

Very pleasant lady. Room was clean with a little dining table, tea and coffee. Self catering kitchen with basic stuff provided. Fresh free range farm eggs for breakfast. Very simple and perfect for one night stay. Thank you!

This stay truly exceeded my expectations. The place was spotless, beautifully decorated, and had every amenity I could have needed. The host was incredibly responsive and thoughtful, making check-in seamless and the entire stay comfortable. It felt more like a boutique hotel. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area!

You receive the warmest of welcomes: the accommodation is outstanding: it is quiet, clean and delightful. The kitchen is well stocked with an excellent choice. This is a perfect place and location to stay in Castleisland or indeed in Kerry.
