We arrived our last stay in ireland.I had made an error booking.needed twin beds and had just booked a double. No other accommodation available anywhere so she gladly popped up a camp stretcher and two mattresses and I wS as snug as a bug.felt like a cosy hammock. Thank you.

Coral Gables is the perfect place to spend the night before catching an early morning ferry back to Fishguard, which was the main reason for choosing to stay there. However, there was such a friendly welcome, including for our dog, that we wouldn't hesitate to stay again. The room was clean and the parking was very convenient for us. We didn't have any meals at the guesthouse, so cannot comment on that.

Nice quiet setting, nicely set out, the garden was a bonus with children. Tea and coffee was also a bonus. The playground around the corner was good, well equipped. The cottage met the needs of our long weekend stay.

Rosslare is a beautiful coastal resort, ideal first families. The Viking influence, visit the Yola Farm. I have family in the area but it's a great base to go travelling further around Ireland, not far to Waterford, famous for its crystal. Good beaches, clean and natural.

Once a ferryport devoid of any real amenities apart from a hotel, Rosslare now boasts several bewer hotels, a fantadtic fish and chip shop, a restaurant-bar, a Pizza cafe, a supermarket and a post office. The village if Kilrane is a short walk away where you'll find two bars that serve food.

We liked Rosslare because it was dog friendly and therefore...

We liked Rosslare because it was dog friendly and therefore we got a good reception wherever we went with our dogs. The people were friendly towards us and our dogs. We were able to take them on some lovely walks off the leads. We liked the area for walking and even saw a seal a couple of times.

The port is currently undergoing a major refit and expansion...

The port is currently undergoing a major refit and expansion and will be considerably improved when finished. Users are not very inconvenienced by the work that is ongoing. We found accommodation in short supply and it would be strongly advisable to pre book as early as possible for your intended stay. Still the ideal arrival port from the U.K. for those living in the midlands and south. Good roads lead northwards towards Wexford.

It is literally a place to stay near the ferry port but nothing else. Get there just in time to go to bed and get up and leave for the ferry. Overpriced in my opinion but that is just my opinion. Would I stay here again …. NO

I was transiting by the ferry to England and arrived and...

I was transiting by the ferry to England and arrived and left in the dark. I had one day in the area and went to Johnstown Castle and grounds which is not far away. It has recently been opened to the public. I wish the weather had been better so that I could have gone to the beach at Rosslare. Wexford town is close which was interesting to explore.

All the staff were really lovely to deal with, Reception, Night porter / concierge, bar staff. There was a major problem with car parking at Rosslare Harbour and the hotel allowed me to leave my car at the hotel for a few days and also helped me to contact a local taxi service, which I used for the 10 km or so trip to the harbour. Very nice bar food. Quiet location and I could easily have gone to the beach if I'd had time. This is a stretch of coast with beautiful beaches.

Our second stay. As ever, host was lovely. We had a different bedroom this time but it was equally as nice. Vey clean warm and comfortable and the ensuite was large. Tea tray included a selection of herbal teas. Convenient for the ferry port

Very close to the ferry port. We thought that the pictures on Bookjngs didn’t do the hotel justice. Comfy, large room. Big free carpark. The lady ( Sue) who checked us in was delightful. We will be back next time we are travelling.
