Located in a very quiet spot near the village of New Inn. The place was spotlessly clean, warm and comfortable. Plenty of space around the property. Plenty of utensils, cutlery etc in the kitchen. Cahir House Hotel is just a few steps away from the castle. From our room, we could see the castle lit up at night. Great for dreaming of knights and fair maidens. The beds are comfortable, but we arrived in a heat wave, and the poor little fan couldn't cool down the room. We were very fortunate to arrive at Trad Fest, so sitting in their bar and restaurant, we were entertained with live music. If you are staying at the hotel, have your meals there. The food is exceptional. Just like the food, the service is wonderful. A big thank you to Finnbarr for always checking to ensure my meals were gluten-free and my wine glass was full. I would definitely recommend this as a good location to see Rock of Cashel, swiss Cottage, Cahir Castle, and Jerpoint Abbey and so much more You can start your day with a full Irish breakfast or a buffet breakfast, which was included in our stay. then return at the end of the day for the wonderful dinner in a pub like atmosphere.
