Josephine has a passion for hospitality and takes pride in her exceptionally clean B and B. Rooms are a little small, but make little difference unless you're staying long term. It's excellent for a couple of nights. The breakfast is excellent, and the surrounding area is pristine and quiet (it's literally across from a cemetery - see pics - about 10 km to town). The host is absolutely engaging and caring and goes out of her way to make you feel at home. You could spend more, but why? Josephine makes you feel like family in her home and provides recommendations and a history of the area. We wished we could have stayed a little longer than one night.

The accomodation was very clean. In a quiet neighbourhood , but in walking distance from the centre. The owners were very helpfull in guiding us with dinnerplans, and travelplans. There is a beautifull garden where you have a privat space you can relax.

Awesome spot in the Burren area. The pod is wonderful, slept amazingly every night. Has its own private deck area, and attached kitchen and bathroom, everything you need to be self catering and contained. Really nice and helpful hosts who are very knowledgeable of the area. Will definitely be my first choice when revisiting the Burren.

Good base for exploring Clare and the Burren.

Good base for exploring Clare and the Burren. Close to the motorway. Close to Gort, Kinvara and Ennis for restaurants, food shopping, cafe's. Tubber has a lovely lake near by and a monastic site . There are 2 wonderful nature reserves within easy access - Coole and Dromore.

There are so many places to visit in this area.

There are so many places to visit in this area. We cycled to Lough Bunny which is only a few minutes away. We ate in the Pier Head in Kinvara and Linnanes in New quay. I would highly recommend both. We hiked in the Burren national park and Ballyvaughan and cycled to Doolin.

A wealth of sensory impressions (countryside, people, landscape, buildings) that defy easy description. Simply breathtakingly beautiful. An umbrella is useless, though—rain and wind are almost always present :-)
