In all the Temples in Puri Jeganath and the Lingaraj Temple in Bhubaneshwar the Pujaris are money minded only, for heaven sake please don't have any conversations with the Pujaris, we really enjoyed the architecture of Konark Temple designed as a chariot which was built in 12th century worth to visit this place.

Bhubaneshwer is beautiful place with rich number of trees and plants ,appreciations toBhubaneshwer municipal corporation ,maintaining cleanliness rather than so many other cities Just we suffered in puri Jagannath temple Bhagavan darshanamu,no proper system like balaji thirumala temple andhra pradesh . Most of brokers , are there , including pandits and few villagers ,if govt looks this matter ,odisha become good tourist place

A wonderful city with a lot to see and eat.

A wonderful city with a lot to see and eat. Getting around is also very easy now with ola and uber! Visiting Konark and Puri are a must. The Lingaraj mandir and Dhauli Stupa are also worth visiting. Dont forget to pick up stone and wood carved souvenirs along with some ikat clothing. And ofcourse dont leave without savouring the taste of rasgullas and chennapoda!

Bhubaneshwar is a nice modern city. Tradition and modernity are beautifully blended together. This is one of the oldest cities of India which is continuously inhabited. The beautiful ancient temples in the city make a visit to the city worth.

Bhubaneswar is an interesting city.

Bhubaneswar is an interesting city. We were mainly interested in seeing the temples in and around the Bindu Sagar Lake and the hills of Khandagiri and Udaygiri. These two areas are covered in the course of a single day by the local taxis (~INR 1500 to 1700 a day). There are other attractions like the Nandankanan Park, which may add time to the itinerary. There are plenty of eateries in Bhubaneswar. Our favourite was Dalma, (named after a local dish), a no-fuss place with two locations, which is a great place to try a variety of local dishes. Bhubaneswar is also a good base to visit Konark, Puri and Cuttack, since the distances are not very much, but staying in the locations is a better option for obvious reasons. Be prepared for the usual dust, heat, potholes, chaotic traffic and have fun.

Temples are good to visit, but do not pay anything extra to the temple priests. The temple priests are too greedy here, they won't accept the offerings until you pay them 500-2000 rupees in person and that was not legitimate. However, visit temples and you will enjoy their perfect architecture. Visit Odisha state museum - it is a must and in front of the museum visit the utkal kanika mall. Do not miss the Udayagiri and Khadangiri caves. Also, use ola cabs for legitimate rides as the ola autos or tempos charge you 200-300 rupees extra everywhere.

Great location and great hospitality.. Right from steping out of ur car to final good bye,they take care of everything.. Food is delicious but bit pricey,that is understandable as it is a high class hotel .. Staff is very generous to help us after checkout and provided us a room to get ready before catching flight ..we asked them to give us extra pickle to carry at home as it was super yummy👍🏻overall stay was very good and I would like to visit other ITC hotels in different cities if india during my next visit 😃

Absolutely amazing experience staying at the Mayfair. We stayed for 4 nights to attend the wedding of friends and I didn't leave the hotel at all during those days, that's how much I enjoyed the general atmosphere, room, pool, several restaurants, spa area. Quiet at night and fantastic breakfast buffet. Staff were extremely friendly and professional. It's expensive for Indian standards but totally worth the money.
