Everything…. when we arrived at the train Station, the extensive works made the whole area a dusty mess and this extends out into the streets. The approach to the area of Jasmin is the same and we were thinking omg this is going to be tough ( we are well travelled in India ) but … The Jasmin is lovely …the staff waited up until 02:30am for us and showed us straight to beautifully decorated room with the all the lovely lighting set up and the room had been heated perfectly…they didn’t even ask us to check in …..just relax and have a good sleep. In the morning was no different, very relaxed check-in and breakfast was attentive and a perfect choice ( don’t be afraid to go room only and have a la carte breakfast its a good choice and very cheap, our total food bil for three breakfasts and one dinner and one lunch ( for two people ) was £34 The owner is very attentive and proud using family and friends for staff, also recommends a guide for the town heritage walk and he organises desert safari’s ( it’s not usually our thing but we did both and thoroughly enjoyed it. I get the comment someone made re bird droppings upstairs on the terrace but ignore this, it doesn’t spoil anything. If you’re on a budget don’t shy from the basic room, we had that without realising it was his cheapest room and it’s really nice. We looked at the others and all well priced and individual.

very clean and relax place!! the staff is so nice and helpful. they arrange everything for you! super room: comfortable, clean, nice smell, good bed and bathroom! nice rooftop terrace for dinner and breakfast. The location inside the fort was wonderful and the rooms were extremely nice and comfortable. The staff, particularly Deepak, were very helpful and took care of all our needs at any time of the day. In addition, they upgraded us to the best available rooms and suites they had open during our stay. Whenever I go back to Jaisalmer, this is where I will stay.

It's was awesome experience to stay in Hotel Desert. I never expected that kind of room I got only 800 rs. I would like to spical thanks for the hotel owner. he is so helpful and lovely person. I enjoyed his company and getting so many knowledge about fort. Resort food was so delicious 😋.

They offer Free pickup from the train station , it's a new hotel and super clean ! . We checked out and left our baggage at the hotel to go to the desert safari . The day after they offered us a room(for free) for some hours to take a shower and be ready for our train.

    Jaisalmer is well-known and rightly thought to be romantic.

    Jaisalmer is well-known and rightly thought to be romantic. There are lots of tourists-- the entire entrance to the great fort is mobbed by tourists and tourist shops and hustlers. Despite that, the magic of this desert city survives. It is a gem, beautiful beyond imagining. I hope we can return someday. The opportunity for a desert adventure-- jeep through the rocky paths, camel ride, dinner cooked over an open fire, the silence of the desert at night-- was delightful. Our driver, Ukka, was skilled and fun to be with.

    Jaisalmer is a dream city.

    Jaisalmer is a dream city. Full of charm and very friendly locals. Jaisalmer Fort is my favorite spot. The architecture, views from roof top and the food all are incredible. A must visit site in Rajasthan.

    The fort exceeded expectations. An amazing structure.

    The fort exceeded expectations. An amazing structure. The trip to the desert with camel trekking for a couple of nights was a good option. People are very friendly and everything is so colourful. The Haveli buildings and Jain temples are a must see. Tuk tuk travel around is easy and most things are walking distance.

    This has been absolutely the best hotel we stayed during our travel in Rajasthan. So clean and well furnished, it looks like a comfortable and well designed apartment bedroom more than just an hotel, which is absolutely a plus for us! We had a very good breakfast (even with moka, you know, as Italians we appreciate that a lot!) in the wonderful rooftop terrace, with a beautiful view of Jaisalmer! We totally recommend it!

    They really care about customers here and it’s such a nice place. We got treated like it was a 5 star hotel whilst here. The manager was a bit late and one of his colleagues brought me a Diet Coke whilst I waited. They always made sure we had water and anything we needed. The room was one of the nicest I’ve stayed in in India. Just a really nice experience.

    Very beautiful Hotel and Staff. I was in Summer so I book Dorm but they upgrade me Ac Room without any extra charge it was so kind of them. I did day trip in Desert on the way we saw few villages cooking food with Rosa. I Have good time in Jaisalmer because of Hotel. Totaly perfect
