The Hotel is an incredible authentic Haveli with so much wonderfully restored painting in the typical style of the traditional Mughal illustrations.
But what really made our stay memorable, was the feeling of being welcomed in a warm and lovely family that was caring so friendly about our welfare.
I recommand. Sincerely Shekhawati Hotel, and I really think this is truly an experience no one can mis visiting Mandawa,... 3 minits walking distance from all the major Havelis.
Thank you for the very Indian Spirit welcome which made our stay so lovely. And for the deep and sincere affection you generously provided us.
Last but not least, cooking was very nice and mild. Really delicious. .

It was fascinating walking around all the empty / derelict Haveli. With some investment this could be a stunning town. Everyone was very friendly and we also walked around the local market. We had a lovely meal at the Mona Lisa rooftop restaurant.

I was stunned to see the beauty and mysterious air of this ancient property, with beautiful art and columns, a great pool and great food. More importantly great staff members.

Mandaawa is a treasure house if you are looking for an out of the ordinary experience of Rajasthan. It is out the ordinary tourist belt of Jaipur, Udaipur and Jodhpur. The Shekhawati best is a treasure house of wonderfuly painted 'havelis'. They are indeed quite extraordinary.

Each Haveli has its own character so a short visit to all is recommended esp. Sone Chandi ki Haveli, Chobdar Haveli, Thalia, Murmuria.
A detour to Ramgarh, Nawalgarh and Mahansar ( for Sone ki Dukan) is highly recommended.
Food is great at Mandawa Kothi, Castle Mandawa and Vivaana Hotel.

Mandawa is the most beautiful town with lots of heritage havelis and there is so much to know about history of these Havelis and how they used to trade in that era.
Those who loves heritage properties then Mandawa is the must visit.
Beautiful architecture , frescos painted Havelis are the Key highlights of this town.

Mandawa is old world charm - an open art walking museum that has stood the test of time and reminder of the opulence of the merchants that inhabited the area.
It has gained recent fame on account of all the mega block busters shot there.
You should visit Mandawa for its culture, a quaint small Indian town that you should walk about and appreciate all the art pieces, and taste delicious food
If Michelango painted the walls of Sevilla houses in interesting frescoes and that city got a huge hit of Indian culture (and animals wandering about), it would be Mandawa

All very good from smooth check in to a pleasant stay. The Haveli is wonderful and also our room was very big and the bathroom too. Everything was also clean.
The swimming pool is also nice and the dinner serve outside in the garden is lovely. Mandawa is a small town so we found the hotel a relaxing place to spend our night.
Since the town is small the position is also very convenient to visit the havelis by walking.

We really liked the friendly staff at this hotel they were helpful and fun. The hotel is well located to explore the city of Mandawa. The food was also well priced, freshly prepared and arrived pretty quickly, not that we were in a hurry.
Later the owner help us fly kites from the roof. Chilled out vibe at a great price.

Very interesting hotel. Well run and worth staying at in you are in this area. We stayed 3 nights. Very good base for seeing the Havelis and walking ŕound the village itself. Food was very good and staff were lovely and smiley. A tour by Mr Simmons of the haveli is a must.

The location was perfect for the Haveli walking tour we'd arranged. Our room was quite dark with no natural light but everything was clean and tidy. The hotel had some beautiful traditional style decor although the dining room was very basic.

The building and rooms are beautiful, and the staff is very helpful. It's easy to explore Mandawa from this accommodation. It's convenient you can eat on site if you want to and you can have it in your room.
