What an absolutely magical place! If you are exploring the Sekhawati region and you have your own vehicle just stay here! Its in the part of the fort that belongs to Thakur Maheshwar Singh whose grandfather served under the maharaja and was gifted the castle for his service. Its a peace of living history with painted walls and large spaces. Its also next to one of the single most gorgeous havelis in all of Shekawati. And the home-cooked food was a delight (secret tomato dish!).

the hotel situation , a little removed from the center of this small city, the beautiful rooms, the places around the courtyard to relax and dine, the peacefulness. the staff was very helpful, even used their own facilities to help me recharge my SIM card. I will definitely come back if I return to Mandawa.

We spent a amazing time in Mandawa's Hotel Shekhawati. . We had the best room for a very very fair price... The Hotel is an incredible authentic Haveli with so much wonderfully restored painting in the typical style of the traditional Mughal illustrations. But what really made our stay memorable, was the feeling of being welcomed in a warm and lovely family that was caring so friendly about our welfare. I recommand. Sincerely Shekhawati Hotel, and I really think this is truly an experience no one can mis visiting Mandawa,... 3 minits walking distance from all the major Havelis. Thank you for the very Indian Spirit welcome which made our stay so lovely. And for the deep and sincere affection you generously provided us. Last but not least, cooking was very nice and mild. Beautiful Haveli, with large comfortable room and very friendly and welcoming staff. Food was excellent and there was no problem catering for my partner who is Coeliac.
