I have just spent the most amazing 24 hours at Island Tower Guesthouse. Coming from the other side of the world I was completely blown away with how the whole guesthouse was presented. I believe I had the privilege of being the first guest to stay in the newly decorated rooms. Each room is decorated completely differently in colour and paintings on the walls and ceilings. Just magical. The rooms are well appointed and the bed extremely comfortable . In the evening I went up to the rooftop restaurant which has the most amazing view over Lake Pichali. At dusk the sky is a mass of black as bats head to the countryside in search of food. The restaurant has a very relaxed inviting feel to it and one can enjoy tasty seasonal food cooked to your liking. The staff are friendly and helpful. I was up at 5am the next morning to be taken on a scooter to feed the lime green parrots who inhabit areas around the lake. Stunning. If you are looking to have an amazing experience in Udaipur I recommend you spend time at this guesthouse

The location was lovely - the views particularly at sunset were phenomenal. The bed was comfortable, the bath with the rose petals was a particularly nice touch as was the fruit bowl and the cookie jars with home made biscuits.

This is a little luxury place without the luxury prices in the centre of the old town in Udaipur. Breakfast is great & dinner was awesome ! The owner speaks very good english & is a tour guide for the palace,so go with him, he is extremely helpful in suggesting what to do & where to go.We had a great 3 days there & wouldn't hesitate in returning & recommending to friends.

Very small boutique hotel with an amazing view of Lake Pichola. Ours was the King room with a great balcony where was a huge space for seating and enjoying the lake view. The hotel is quite small and has a small but cute rooftop terrace as well. The hotel staff was very responsive, providing us with all the necessary equipment. The hotel staff was very helpful in arranging the tuk-tuk when needed. Breakfast was delicious and had a good variety as well.
