The staff hospitality is awesome! they really care about you. The staff can help you to book train tickets, find a tooktook, recommend places to go. We rented a bike here, it’s not expensive, so it’s more convenient to explore places. Breakfasts are wonderful, you can have how much you want and whatever you want. Hotel located in amazing exotic place, close to the ocean, beautiful and clean beaches nearby. It has own garden, so you can enjoy the view from territory of the hotel. Totally recommend Kerala cottage!

This hotel is located on a stunning beach, offering breathtaking views, especially from the second floor—truly magical! The manager was incredibly helpful, going above and beyond to accommodate every request we had. Breakfast was great, and we loved that we could request exactly what we wanted to eat. The level of service here is exceptional, making it a rare find. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a wonderful and relaxing stay!

Tiny Temple is a rare gem set back from a quiet section of 'the strip' close to Black Beach. Swati, the host, couldn't be sweeter. He was really helpful and made us feel completely at home. The location and view from the rooftop/deck is unbeatable and the price was totally reasonable (we were there just before 'high' season). New Wifi is being installed which will be the cherry on top! Another perk was the fine folks at Elina's Clifftop Restraunt (next door) who were really accommodating and even offered room/rooftop service. My daughter and I took a risk on a spot without reviews and in this case we're so glad we did. Can't recommend it highly enough.

Due to the long weekend, north cliff and north-side beaches were hopelessly crowded. But the south cliff was really peaceful and soothing to walk around and the beaches were cleaner. Kayaking at the Mangroves is a must, some of the prettiest scenery in the area.

What I liked most was the view from my balcony looking out to the sea. A room without a view would not be so agreeable. The grounds were beautiful with lovely tropical flowers and plants. There is an agreeable open air area for meals and breakfast. The breakfast was cooked to order. One day I had English breakfast and one day banana pancakes. The employees are helpful and agreeable. The pool area is also nice.

Very nice coast, it’s possible to walk for kilometres along the coast. It’s quite turistic but mainly locals so it doesn’t bother too much. It’s possible to get into the sea only in very few places but I wouldn’t recommend it. The town has lots of markets, bakeries and restaurants. There are several yoga studios along the coast.

It is a beautiful place with plenty of beaches, greenery, small town shops, water sports and the most beautiful mangroves. There are also nice places like the Jatayu Park and the Shri Narayana Guru Samadhi and ancient temples that are a treat to visit.

Beautiful views worth seeing.

Beautiful views worth seeing. However most visitors are rowdy which affects the comfort of people seeking a more down to earth experience. Restaurants often out price locals and cater to Western tastes; they seek a specific type of well put together, middle or upper class traveller. Monsoon season is likely a more relaxing time to be here with less rowdy visitors from out of town/state. Little cleanup efforts for the beaches. Bad sanitation and waste control. Waste burning unfortunately normalised.

It's good, but they merchants near cliff and beach they are making the real robbery towards the tourists, thorough making more than the MRP without any bill and also more over the restaurants were collecting more money than their service...

Well maintained A/C rooms. Best homestay. If needed food provided on request. Good service. Very safe for ladies group and family maintained by a decent family who are very much caring, friendly and realistic people. Loved their service. They only accommodate foreigners, families and ladies. Would confidently suggest to others to choose their homestay and very close to Varkala north cliff.(5 mint walkable distance only)

Very welcoming hotel with excellent staff. Nice pool, nice gardens, lovely breakfast and quiet location. Located very close to a beach, however not the sort of beach you could spend a lot of time on as no facilities for tourists. Varkala cliff with all its restaurants and shops was about twenty minutes walk away.

One of the best places to stay. Good hostel for solo travelers. Friendly and helpful staff. I strongly recommend this place for travelers. Hotels, beaches and cliffs all are close to this property. I got a lot of friends from this hostel. It's always hard to leave this place after a vacation.
