I’ve stayed here before and always thought the location was...
I’ve stayed here before and always thought the location was magical—the nearby church feels otherworldly! The bar is cozy and a perfect spot for a coffee or a drink, and the restaurant serves a truly delicious dinner.
When I stayed a few years ago, I felt the rooms were just okay for the price. But this time, I tried one of the newly renovated rooms, and it was beyond my expectations. The design, comfort, and overall feel completely changed my experience—I went from liking this hotel to absolutely loving it.
I highly recommend booking one of the renovated rooms. They’re 100% worth it!

Hotel Búðir is a must stay if staying over on the peninsula.
Hotel Búðir is a must stay if staying over on the peninsula. We stayed for one night and it was a perfect stop after a long day. They have a happy hour in the lounge from 1600-1800 hours. Pleasant and helpful staff. Just do it!

awesome hotel. remote and gorgeous. the best doonas ever. and lounges to chill in, and the bar wine serve is a glass of wine size as you would at home, perfect for chilling in their lounge.
we stayed in the loft rooms, ceiling window opens to sounds of the sheep and birds. lovely

Large room with stunning views, very comfy bed and beautiful soft bed linen…location of the hotel is amazing.
Lovely friendly staff in all departments.
The hotel was the nicest in style of all the hotels we stayed in over our touring holiday.

The food was unbelievably good!
My husband is a foodie and he said his hamburger was the best he has ever tasted!
The hotel is beautifully renovated.
The staff were friendly and very professional.
We will definitely be back!
