The staff is very kind. Breakfast was very good. The rooms are very clean and comfortable. If you are planning a road trip, you are very well located close to the main road to the city, if you arrive back late there is also the possibility of dinner.

    Gardur is a convenient location close to the airport. The room was very nice and the bed was comfortable, The access was easy with no stairs for brining in luggage. I liked the small town and visiting the lighthouses nearby. I enjoyed my stay here and would stay here again.

    Nice and quiet location close to the sea. Rooms are very quiet, clean and have a nice countryside view out the window. Hotel is relatively short drive to the airport, good if you are using it for the last night and have a early flight next morning, but far away from Reykjavik and other touristy places. Nice and friendly staff in reception and restaurant, they prepared us lovely breakfast boxes to go, as we left early in the morning (before breakfast started)

    The Bay View apartment is a very special place, a big apartment with great style at the sea side. Unforgettable is the sight from the hot tub to the bay, but also the living room and kitchen are simply extraordinary. Gardur is a great base to visit the Reykjanes peninsula and as location nearby the airport. We loved it- and would like to come back!

    Simple, clean, cosy room. Very warm at night, but we found that most hotels in Iceland were! Lovely location, really near to airport. Good breakfast with hot and cold options
