Wonderful stay and wonderful host! Very cozy and large house, so we were able to rest a lot after some longer hikes. Ultimately great host, who told us a lot instightful info about the eastern part of Iceland as well as he mentioned a set of hidden gems. It is a must stay if you travel through north-east/east part of the island. It is also a great place in terms of close location to different attractions (Stuðlagil canyon, Hengifoss). Highly recommended!

We stayed there for a few days and everything was exceptional. The natural surroundings, the farm, the accommodation, the food, the staff, and the fact that everything was built around sustainability truly impressed us.
