The two hosts were fantastic, they made us feel right at home! Upon check-in, the owner gave us a tour of the entire hotel and explained the story behind their business and their family. Had some lovely talks with both of them throughout our stay and I loved all the personal touches they added to the decor of the hotel. They were extremely accommodating and even let us put a few groceries in their fridge. We made our own dinner in the shared kitchen and enjoyed it on the outside terrace while watching the sunset behind the mountains. The surroundings were peaceful and offered the most beautiful views. We even watched a wild fox come and play with their dog!! The kitchen was clean and fully stocked with all of the equipment you need. Breakfast was superb, they offered a wide variety of meats, cheese, cereal, fruit and even fresh bread baked by the owner's wife. Our room was spacious, had a separate/private entrace, large bathroom and even included an extremely comfortable couch to relax on. Their service and hospitality was our favourite part. This was the best stay in all of Iceland, and we are so happy to have met the hosts!

We stayed for one night on Sept 5. Very convenient location. It was a beautiful apartment with an amazing harbour view and Mountain View’s around. There was a supermarket, museum, fashion store etc right in front of it. Although the apartment was on the second floor, they helped us with our luggage. They guided us to a Geo Thermal pool close to their premises and it was complimentary from the Hotel. The apartment itself was very comfortable, spacious and well equipped. The awesomeness of this Hotel was mind blowing and we totally recommend it for a relaxing and peaceful stay.

The place seems to be converted from an old bank, and it’s got a nice vintage vibe. The view from the window is great too. The check-in location is about a 5-minute walk from where the rooms actually are, but overall, everything was really good.

The room was great all around. The view was exceptional, looking out at the lagoon and down the fjord. Enjoyed sitting on the balcony and relaxing, taking it all in. Very clean, actually spotless. The bed was very comfortable and i had an excellent night sleep. It is right in the heart of town and everything was in walking distance.
