Megiiceland is THE best place to stay next to the airport. Our hosts were very helpful and very friendly! The basement of the house is very comfortable and very very clean. You will find everything you need for cooking your own meals. Two bedroom with nice deco, good mattress and individual blankets. The bathroom is also very clean with all commodities.

Room was spacious and quiet. Tokyo Sushi provided a delicious , freshly prepared meal which we ate in our room. Used the airport shuttle which was quick and punctual . Every staff member we interacted was friendly , helpful and efficient.

Excellent location for a night's stay if you have an early morning flight or if you have a rental car to return to the airport in the evening. After too many soft beds during the week, Aurora's beds were just right. Breakfast is served from 4:30 already. Good sound isolation of the rooms, didn't hear any noise from the airfield.

Grocery store is close. Breakfast was very good, but I still don't understand the beans for the breakfast. People must love holding back things or aroma theraphy in the long drives or during flights.

This Home was perfect, I was in a great location and the property owner lives in the home next to this one. When we arrived he came out and was very pleasant and said if we need anything at any time to call him. We will definitely book this again!

We just spent our last day in this area and overnight for a...

We just spent our last day in this area and overnight for a morning flight. We drove around the peninsula and took in the ocean and lava fields for the last time. The Bridge between the Continents was very interesting. We loved the city of Keflavik and especially the Dunn Museum cafe. (We got there too late for the museum itself.) We both took advantage of the seafood and were not disappointed. Halibut for me, which was fabulous. My husband had a seafood trio with shrimp and lobster. We both cleaned our plates!
