Really nice apartment, clean and cozy, comfortable beds. In the fridge we had two eggs from the farm. There is everything you need in the kitchen and in the bathroom as well. Really nice owner :)

The guesthouse was very confortable, spacious, clean and well-decorated. The kitchenette had all the utilities we needed. The electric stove was stored on a drawer under the sink. But the best thing was the sympathy our hosts showed us. We were supposed to stay for 2 nights, but unfortunately were caught up in the middle of a snow storm, so they refound us for the first night we couldn't get there and stayed in contact with us throughout those days, indicating us the best way to arrive on the guesthouse since most roads leading there were closed or slippery.

Everything is perfect. Big house with nice mountain and ocean view. Just couple steps away from supermarket. Free parking is also plus. If you are planning to do whale watching, it is just 500 meters away from the harbor.

We loved our stay at Svartaborg. The design of the house is stunning and a wonderfully peaceful environment with a lot of privacy. The view from the window was truly spectacular. The location is ideal if you want to visit Lake Myvatn, Godafoss, Akureyri or Husavik. Our daughter had a broken finger before we arrived at Svartaborg, so we decided to stay in the apartment the next day. That turned out to be the best decision. The apartment was fully equipped for cooking and entertainment, allowing us to rest comfortably. The owner provided clear instructions for finding the house, and it was easy to locate, even when arriving after dark. He also helped us with any questions we had. We hope to visit Iceland again and will definitely return!

We had a wonderful stay in this amazing apartment. The apartment is very spacious; there are two bed rooms and a big bathroom with a lot of amenities. Bedrooms are decent size and have comfortable beds. There is a well-equipped kitchen with a dishwasher, washing machine, oven, coffee machine and fridge. There is a comfy sofa and a television. Decorations are modern: gold and black are combined in a tasteful way.Parking is just in front of the room. The apartment is situated close to the church and in walking distance of supermarkets, restaurants and whale watching tours. There is a large deck (which we didn't use because we stayed in late autumn.) Overall Húsavík is a wonderful town in which we made wonderful memories. This apartment contributed to this overall feeling. We definitely recommend this wonderful place.
