By far the perfect stay we ever had (and we traveled around the world)! It's exactly as in the photos. It exceeded our expectations. Self check-in and check-out at any hour between the check-in and check-out set times. Extremely easy to find (although you can't find it on google maps). The host tells you exactly where it is in Sudureyri and how to get in, by message on the day of arrival.

Large 3 bedroom cottage with a lounge/diner/kitchen, complete with 2 sofas and a large dining room table. This is the perfect place for a stop in the Westfjords and for exploring Flateyri. Not to mention the stunning mountain views all around.We were a bit worried as other reviews said there were no sofas but that has changed now, all the cottages have them.

The bedrooms were spacious & clean. Comfortable beds & full-size fridge in each room was very handy. Friendly staff and lots of good tips & advice about local activities & dining options. The property had an amazing unique design inside. It was warm and had a real coziness about it. The house had a wonderful selection of books displayed on creative bookshelf’s around the lounge, everything for everyone. Our room was beautifully designed and the bed was very comfortable. The roomy shower was superb and Stephanie our host was so friendly. We couldn’t ask for more on our 3 day stay.

Holt Inn is a magical place, so remote in the beautiful West Fjords with extraordinary views. The service was excellent. A true example of hospitality. The room comfortable and very clean. We loved our stay there and recommend it highly.
