Very kind and friendly staff. A wonderful, large, and clean swimming pool with a stunning sea view, and comfortable apartments. The beach is nearby — the coastline and water are absolutely clean. You can either walk to the beach or use the hotel’s shuttle service, which runs back and forth throughout the day. The hotel also has a bar and a restaurant. You can easily reach a beautiful nearby town and stroll through its charming streets, where you’ll find plenty of restaurants and various shops. There is also a fantastic sandy beach there. We will definitely come back again!

The place is amazing , very clean,the staff is friendly they go above and beyond to please guests. Location is great close to everything. Calabrisella night is a weekly event that is incredible. Being from a Calabrian background the food brought back memories of my mother's home cooking. Most importantly the Calabrian hospitality at the resort is the reason for returning next time. great sea for snorkeling but sometimes jellyfish on Grotticelle beach (very painful for kids) - in Tropea no jellyfish and calm sea all the times. in summer has the area problems with water supply - before check-in ask the owner of the property of the state of water in the tanks (we had bad luck in July, our apartment ran out of water twice a week - very stressful) the beaches of Capo Vaticano are available by car (parking is for 1,50 Eur/hour) or on foot 20min walk downhill (but up the hill in hot weather is guite a challenge) snorkeling in this sea is like in an aquarium :-)

The rooms were clean, nicely decorated and spacious. The wifi and speed was amazing. The food was good. The breakfast was not entirely free as the website suggests. The lunch buffet was delicious and loved the female bartender at the snack shack by the pool who helped us. The hotel was not a 4 star as it states and the neighbourhood surrounding the hotel is poor and run down, not safe to walk around at night. There is no iron available for hotel guests. The hotel pool needs to be fixed and maintained. The tiles are missing throughout the pool and the pool has algae growing on the side tiles. The beach made up for the pool. We had to buy towels as the hotel did not supply towels for pool/beach, 10 Euros a towel at the local market. The ocean floor is rocky and slimy and its very difficult to get in. We were not prepared to deal with the rockiness of the beach and needed to buy water shoes.

The hotel has a very nice location and the pool was well-maintained. The staff was very friendly. The food was tasty, although not everything on the menu was available (end of season!). The mattresses should be replaced! Rooms 36 and 35 need to be renovated, as they smelled musty. Despite all this, we had a lovely time and would come back.

Great view while having coffee near the lighthouse. Plenty of sunshine and pleasantly warm during the second week of October. Poor infrastructure. A backlog of public repairs seems to be in place. No pedestrian or cycle paths. Not suitable for people with disabilities. Lots of litter in public spaces. Even on the beach... plastic waste everywhere you look!

Outside of peak season, it was very quiet.

Outside of peak season, it was very quiet. Because it turned out to be primarily a tourist village, it was rather deserted. Capo Vaticano itself lacks much atmosphere. Pizzo, Scilla, or Tropea are more attractive places.

The beaches are all beautiful, well-maintained, and almost all have free and private areas. The sea is splendid, clear, and the water temperature is excellent, both inside and outside. The second half of September is a great time to visit: fewer people, lower prices, and a mild climate. I enjoyed the three beaches in Grotticelle, including Tono, and I recommend visiting the others as well.

The restaurant, including an enclosed veranda, enjoys lovely views and offered an excellent range of dining options for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Erika and her team were welcoming and extremely helpful. I had a very comfortable and relaxing stay and hope to return.

There isnt an option with a 12 otherwise i would give it to the hosts. They are just amazing, caring and preparing you a fresh breakfast everyday. The beaches around Capo Vaticano are a dream - ask them about the unknown ones - and this place is absolutlly great to enjoy them.
