This is a lovely hotel. It's just off the motorway, so very easy to find. It's also near to the town of Cassino, and easy to get around in a car. The breakfast was fantastic. The buffet had a good selection of pastries, cereal, yoghurt, and fresh fruit. Fresh Italian coffee was delivered to the table as per individual request. I would definitely stay here again.

Cassino is a town of much historical significance and is very welcoming to visitors. The abbey is a must see, as are the war cemeteries. I recommend a guide, mine was Dr Danila Bracaglia who is so knowledgeable.

Easy to navigate once familiar with signage. Felt maybe there could have been more available buses however taxis were prompt up to between 7-8 pm in the evening only. There was no available persons to chat with at the railway station which impacted on plans to visit other places of interest. The highlight of our visit was Montecassino Abby , steeped in history of the world war it was Amazing , my second visit there in 2 years bringing a friend along who’s Polish father fought in the war!! The war memorial was breathtaking to witness as was the commonwealth memorials.

We are Orthodox Christian monastics from New Zealand and we...

We are Orthodox Christian monastics from New Zealand and we came to visit St Benedict's Monastery. I have been twice before but brought my daughter, a nun, this time. Last time I visited the war graves and was profoundly moved and saddened by recalling the entire battle scene that once occurred in this area. No one prospers in a war, ever, but the rebuilding of the once bombed monastery is a testimony to the faith and loving care in the hearts of the people of this town. We found all the people we met to be very hospitable and friendly. It was local young Asians whom we asked for directions to a Chinese restaurant, for example, and were delightfully surprised just how multiculturant Cassino has now become. It was a joy to be here and we were blessed in our stay. We highly recommend Boteroom accomodation here, the Tai Wan restaurant, a tour of St Benedict Monastery and a sunset stroll on the piazza. You'll just love it.

We had a car so we could drive up to the abbey and fort. The shops close in town about 1-2pm so if you need supplies get them first. The man in supermarket was quite rude when I didn't understand that he closed at 2pm.

The villa is gorgeous and immaculate. Decorated splendidly - every detail - tablecloths, cups, tile, all gorgeous The host is personable and helpful. We had a lovely conversation. The golden retriever welcomed me when i pulled in The air is fresh and clean -- mountain air. Quiet neighborhood - excellent for retreat. Just up the road is a wonderful family owned restaurant to have dinner. Definitely need a car up here. Be careful walking on the roads -- the traffic comes fast and there are no pedestrian sidewalks. Bring some foodstuffs: bottled water and whatever you like to drink; snacks, sandwiches... whatever you need the internet was spotty upstairs --

This is a first rate hotel to stay in particularly if you are interested in WW2. We had stayed in a different hotel on an earlier visit, and we think Edra Palace was better. Staff being helpful was a great bonus. Ambience and sitting outside was great. We found several excellent local restaurants which added to the pleasure of our visit.

As our room was ready, the management let us access it nearly two hours before their advertised time. consequently we were able to have lunch in their restaurant, where a delicious chicken salad was prepared promptly. This enabled us to visit the Abbey of Monte Cassino that afternoon (they checked the opening and closing hours for us and gave us directions to get there. We had supper in the restaurant, where an innovative menu was available with delicious food and a very satisfactory house white wine by the carafe.

everything is perfect . nice service . owners are friendly and soo welcoming and helpful. clean romm. hotel next to everything you need. also everything you need is in the hotel. rooms are clean tidy artistic .the hotel itself is such a vibe . it has alot of beautiful paintings. i love staying here its soo comfortable and affordable especially as a student . in addition, as a female its a very secure place plus all the toiletteries you need is available in the room.

Incredibly beautiful hotel and location. Everything was perfect, comfortable bed, great shower, good secure parking, and good wifi. The location is on a hill overlooking Cassino, it’s stunning, but a bit of a walk to town and back, we were ok with this, but if you have a vehicle, it’s perfect. We walked once and took our motorcycle after.

A wonderful agriturismo full of character in beautiful gardens with views of Monte Cassino. Our apartment was set over two floors with a spiral staircase connecting the kitchen / lounge area to the bedroom. There was a lot of activity at the venue with family parties and a young musicians event, but this made for the family atmosphere.
