Had a great time with some friends at Hotel Diecimare, celebrating a good friends 30th Birthday with a bigger group. Amazing location in lovely Campania quite close to Vietri and Amalfi, with an amazing Service and super friendly, warm hearted personnel. quietly situated B&B in the hills near the nice town of Cava di Tirreni. The apartment was super clean, well equiped , 2 bathrooms and had comfortable beds. Marianna and Paola are very hospitable, serve a delicious extensive breakfast and gave tips for tours and restaurants. Paola is a licensed tour guide and accompanied us to Pompeii and Herculaneum. She has a lot of knowledge, is a good narrator and very nice company. We very much enjoyed our tours! Thanks Marianna and Paola, we had a lovely time in your B&B.

This B&B is the perfect base for exploring the Amalfi Coast. We were warmly welcomed by Analysa and Maria — truly the best hosts you could wish for. They made us feel genuinely like guests, not just visitors. The room was clean, cozy, and fully equipped with everything we needed. It was thoroughly cleaned every day, and fresh towels were provided daily. The location is also fantastic: set in a small village within walking distance (20 minutes) of several restaurants — plenty of great options to choose from. The Amalfi Coast is also easily accessible from here. We’ll definitely be coming back!

A great alternative to visit the Amalfi Coast. Laid back and accessible. Vietri is only a short 2 Euro - 8 minute bus ride from the Plaza. Cava was recommended to us by a friend and it seems to be the affordable and relaxing way to visit Amalfi.

It is medium size town, with very charming old town.

It is medium size town, with very charming old town. There is a lot of shops alongside corso (main street) . Food is amazing and very cheap, there are no tourists, but everyone is friendly. There are many restaurants and cafes, we can recomend Osteria Pupetta, where food was amazing, just as the atmosphere (the staff don't speak English, but we used google translator :) It is a great place to observe and feel how regular Italians live.

I came to Cava de' Tirreni to know the town from which my maternal ancestors emigrated from. I was not disappointed by simply wandering around. (Watch out for dog poop on the city sidewalks!) As with many cities, there appears to be a population of stray/unhomed cats in Cava and I'd like to hear that the city is working on best practices for remedying the suffering of street animals by promoting spay/neutering and fostering programs. I also only found Cava tourism brochures (including a free city map) on the last day of my stay in Cava -- at the public library and archive. It would be great if such promotional material was disseminated at all the places on Booking.com's radar.

Cava de Tirreni is a nice lively city and Corso Umberto is great with good shops and restaurants. Cava de' Tirreni is 5 minutes by train to Vietri sul Mare and the sea. Trains are clean and usually punctual. Ticket to Vietri costs 1.28 Euros per person.

This is a lovely town with a looooong history as a vacation...

This is a lovely town with a looooong history as a vacation spot for the well to do. Today, it's charming and still has much of its medieval-age architecture. We made this a home base for exploring the larger area - Pompei, Herculeum, Amalfi coast, wineries - it was a great choice and I highly recommend it.

Beautiful Italian town, with good food and facilities. We ate at Osteria Nonna Maria, friendly staff and good value. Great pizza at Pizzeria Da Basilio di Trezza Basilio, mostly does take away, but very friendly.

Our stay at the hotel Victoria was exceptional. We had the suite and it exceeded our expectation. Breakfast was sensational and the staff especially Lucia was so friendly and accomadating. This is the third time we have stayed at this property and it does not disappoint. If you are planning a trip to the Amalfi coast this is an ideal base. It is only 13 minutes by train to Salerno, where you can then catch a ferry to all the popular beach spots.

The most hospitable stay we have had in Italy so far. Lovely people, old world hospitality, in a charming place, at the top of a hill. We were treated like everyone was happy to see us and the service level was excellent. From the decor, arrival drink, to breakfast, to the light- switches everything is well thought out and lovely. Dario was a fantastic host, made us feel very welcomed. Was always available if we had a question. The property location is perfect, with lots of shops and restaurants around. Salerno is not too far away. We went down to Salerno to catch a ferry to Amalfi. Breakfast was very good!
