Excellent stay for one night in Chioggia - incredible value for money, Cesare is a fantastic host and was available to answer all of our questions with kindness and patience. The bed is very comfortable, the building felt safe and the room facilities are excellent - one of the best showers I’ve had!! One thing to note which Cesare kindly informed us of is that in Italy AC is controlled seasonally, so for us personally coming from a cold country, April is very warm, and so too was the room. Opening the windows made this a very minor issue, but good to know for reference! I could not recommend this place highly enough, and would definitely stay again without hesitation!! Thank you :)

Beach if fabulous for kids thanks to chemical properties of the sand (iodine good for lungs and respiration)

Lovely old town, lively but not overun.

Lovely old town, lively but not overun. Countless bars and restaurants with pavement tables - some of the latter very good indeed, especially if you are a fish-lover. The pace is relaxed and the atmosphere welcoming. A real town lived in by real people- who come out in force for the huge Thursday street. We loved Chioggia - a real find. We'll be back!

The accommodation has a very strategic location, close to...

The accommodation has a very strategic location, close to everything. That's the most important thing for me. Otherwise, the accommodation consists of one room divided in half into a sleeping area and a kitchenette with a table. The bathroom is fully adequate, just in the shower was very difficult to manage betweenhot and cold water. A big plus is the host, who explains exactly where everything is and also sent links to everything you need. Very helpful and professional.

Everything was perfect. Owner was waiting for us in front of building to welcome us. Lives next door which, in case of need, easy to contact. Location perfect as it’s an easy walk to Chioggia and parking in front of the lodging. Room was spotless as was the entrance, dining room, entrance hall etc. l within 5 min walk you have Leo’s pizzaria which is unique and sells its product by the kilo. Excellent! Very good coffee shops next door. Happy to highly recommend Casa Mafalda and its location on Sottomarina.
