From Lombardia's castle has panoramic view, Etna, Callascibetta, valley, Bassa Enna, old town. There is a supermarket near castle. Velvendere square is 10minutes from bus stop and 20min from bus station. Enna is a beautiful and historic city, in a spectacular hilltop location with stunning views. We found it a very friendly town, with very few tourists in March. It can be very cold even then, when windy, so pack warm clothes. Worth the bus journey. The views from Enna are spectacular. We had a beautiful meal at Il Mito di Kore on the recommendation of our hosts. We saw the cathedral and walked as far as the castle which was closed for renovation.Guest review byJudyIreland

They both are the best hosts, and the room itself is paradise, a whole flat for ourselves! I am out of words to define it! It is worth a visit to Enna just to stay at their premises. I wish i had stayed a bit longer: the peacefulness of the room is out of this world, our room was huge, and breakfast was like a culinary festival!! Pamela and Giuseppe couldn't be more welcoming, they make you feel as family from the moment you arrive. It has been so far our best experience in Sicily. Staying with this beautiful family truly felt like I was not a tourist, and was a highlight of Enna on its own. My Italian isn’t the best, so verbal communication was slow, but that’s on me. This didn’t take anything away from the friendliness and warmth I received. The room was great, spacious and clean. Ideal hosts, it’s not so easy to find but the hosts were responsive to messages and came to meet us and guide us to a parking space.
