The feeling of staying in this apartment is beyond words, you need to go there and experience everything yourself. Clean room, crisp white linens and comfortable beds. The location itself is just super, around the vineyards and fields, from the veranda of the house overlooking the bay. Peace, tranquility and fresh air all around. The hosts are very friendly and hospitable, upon arrival a delicious homemade pie was waiting for us in the room, and upon departure we were handed a jar of delicious marmalade. We have been to a lot of places but this place will continue to be one of our favorites, we will definitely return here next year.

We really enjoyed our vacation. The apartment is in a quiet location in a gated complex, with a view of the sea from the terrace (which never gets old). The beach is adequate with shallow, clean water. The nearby village provides everything you need for a relaxing stay (grocery store, restaurant, pizza, ice cream).

Upside, we loved the staff, the room was spacious, and...

Upside, we loved the staff, the room was spacious, and enjoyed he pool. We found everything was clean, contrary to other reviews. The train was a constant annoyance and we recommend getting a room in the back. Our TV did not work and although they did suggest switching our room, we decided to remain and read our books. We dined at the restaurant one evening (we are former restaurant owners) and we were impressed with the service, quality of food, and impressive wine list. Flip-side, we were disappointed that we were charged for breakfast. We really wanted to like this hotel but it does have downsides.

There are beautiful beaches nearby, the village is charming and equipped with all comforts, furthermore the location is strategic for quickly reaching some of the most beautiful areas of Tuscany, from Argentario to the Maremma Park.

There's nothing in Fonteblanda.

There's nothing in Fonteblanda. Talamone is two minutes away, but there's no real beach for swimming, so you're forced to travel toward Argentario. Fonteblanda's location is convenient for reaching Argentario, a 15-minute drive away, but it's a very quiet place to stay.

The location of the accommodation is very nice, but that's about it. The entire property and the grounds give a neglected impression. Due to the remote location, we booked half-board, which we cannot recommend. We cannot understand the overwhelmingly good and positive reviews in any way.

Accommodation in the beautiful Tuscan countryside, the sea and sandy beaches were approx. 7-10 km from the hotel. The hotel had a view of the sea in the distance. Breakfast was typically Italian, good coffee. Dinner very tasty, lots of seafood. The location of the swimming pool in the hotel area was pleasant, the water reduced the air temperature. Overall I recommend. Good quality for a reasonable price.

Had a great stay here, booked it last minute and was able to check in within 30 minutes, the host was very quick at replying and was also love at making sure everything was ok when we first arrived, very easy to deal with also! House is lovely has everything you need in it, in a great location with a short walk to the restraunt’s and shops of fonteblanda

Very quiet 4 star Hotel/Resort just off the main road. Friendly reception, modern and clean room, safe free parking. Restaurant was closed being off-season, but there were some fine ones in nearby Talamone, just few minutes away.
