The hosts were wondefully welcome to our family. Fresh food, eggs and smiles. There little farm was a wonder for our 2 year old who spent time everyday with the hosts feeding the animals. 20 minutes drive into Piacenza but on the doorstep of the Grazzono Visconti estate. Will stay again.

Staying at this hotel was a whole experience. It is part of a castle complex and it gives "Old Italy" vibes which is amazing! Rooms are spacious and I felt like a princess there. They also have a wonderful restaurant that offers tasty food and a huge variety of wines. The location was beautiful and surrounding was quiet. !00% recommend this hotel!

The location is beautifully located on top of a hill, overlooking the Valtrebbia and surrounded by nature (green fields and vineyards). The staff was nice and available during our stay and they were really keen to make the guests' stay as good as possible without being deferential (an attitude which I personally dislike). The location overall is amazing, I wish I could've tried the SPA but we only stayed one night and it was already closed when we arrived. I'm sure I'll come back here either with friends or with my partner again, cause I want to try the amazing swimming pool there is in the garden.

The owners have thought of everything. In the small kitchenette you will find everything you need. The views from the terrace of the room are amazing. The beds are very comfortable, the couch is very nice, the bathroom is perfect. The team is fab, especially Elia! This is a B&B that really gives back something to the community. What a beautiful surroundings and what a great house. How wonderful to have the opportunity to have a look inside a real Italian way of life, at least in the earlier days. So much history. We booked the family room and our daughter (almost 3) was so happy with the sleeping couch; she has slept the whole night through while normally she wakes up during the night. The pool was very nice to have, especially because it was very hot outside. We loved the breakfast, especially the torta della nonna. The breakfast is a bit sweet but if you ask for something else Paolo will bring it. We hadn’t realized it was a Monday when we arrived which means that a lot of restaurants were closed. Luckily the mom of the host knew a very good place and made a reservation for us. We have met the whole family, all very nice people. Don’t hesitate to ask for something: they are glad to help you or bring it to you.
