Interesting and historic property in good location. Friendly host who was at the property when I arrived so showed us in. Lovely welcome with tea, coffee etc and bottle of local wine which was a very nice gesture. Small area for cooking with fridge was useful.

Absolutely fantastic. The hotel was exceptionally clean, secure parking, Marco was incredibly welcoming and friendly and the food was absolutely exquisite. Comfortable beds and air con with plenty of space and the perfect place to stop en route to Tuscany. There is a small pool to let the children burn off some energy and stunning views all round. Highly recommend stopping off here - 5* all round.

Guarene is a quaint sleepy town, great if you want to enjoy the wine country and the get away from the hustle and bustle of other larger cities. If staying during the week make reservations at restaurants and for transportation ahead of time as there are limited options and hours of operation.

A lovely little village. Very clean.

A lovely little village. Very clean. Nice hiking trails for a morning stroll. Great location on a hill. By car, you can reach the most beautiful wine regions from Guarene in 10-30 minutes. There are also many places with a rich culture and history.

A beautiful area for a peaceful weekend immersed in hills covered almost entirely in vineyards. The area boasts many wineries offering wine tastings, as well as excellent restaurants and farmhouses serving traditional dishes.

Guarene is a charming little village near Alba. There are many walks to enjoy among the olive and chestnut trees. The views of the surrounding area are breathtaking. There are also many picturesque villages nearby.

Guarene is a must-see for contemporary art enthusiasts, thanks to the itineraries inside the Palazzo della Fondazione Sandretto Re Rebaudengo and outside, in the Contemporary Art Park. Add to this the fact that all the main attractions of the Langhe and Roero region are just a few kilometers away, and it becomes a starting point as well as a destination.

We do not recommend this hotel for its value for money.

We do not recommend this hotel for its value for money. The food, in particular, was noticeably poor. There was insufficient staff, the room was tiny but had a large marble bathroom. The crystal chandelier directly above the bed felt menacing. The terrace was noisy.

The hotels over all presence in this small town is one of royalty and grandeur. I felt like I had arrived at a scene out of a James Bond movie. The old world charm is definitely there, billiard room, small hidden bar, old world dining rooms, candelabra, massive fire places and the escape tunnels that take you to the swimming pool and Spa. We wanted a Castle experience, we got it.

Beautiful hotel, stunning interiors lots of little details and such a peaceful, relaxing and welcoming atmosphere. The service was excellent, really helpful and gave us some great restaurants recommendations. I only wish we could have stayed longer. We would love to come back again soon.
